My brother and I tore down a 2013 yz250. Its been a while since we worked on a bike but I think we did a pretty good job.

Going to do a complete makeover:
Pro-Action Suspension
Pro Circuit Works Pipe
V-Force 3 reeds
Pro Circuit Clutch Cover
Billet Stator Cover
Pro Wheel wheelset

Re-styled plastic kit
Lots of powdercoated parts (have my own setup)
Anodized Frame/Swingarm

Before tear-down:

Currently sitting:

Decal Works graphics for restyled plastic:

Sure is a lot of green for a Yammy. But I bet it will look great.

Cool man, how long did it take y'all to tear it down? The green should be a nice touch.

took about 35 minutes to get the frame and swingarm completely bare.

Coming together some more:

We're not into traditional colors...this was the last bike we made look different: Took a red graphics kit, and cut in all of the orange by hand. This was in 07 I think (back before we could get custom kits).

Sorry I keep the stock set for different tire setup (practice track is deep sand).

Here is an update. Have to color the subframe yet, but it wouldn't fit in the oven for powdercoat. Need to build the seat yet too.

Get rid of all the blue, add a green Kawi front fender and number plate.

Okay maybe it's too late now, but that would be sick!

Green and white would be pretty sweet too (and was one of the starting ideas)! Wasn't sure if the green frame would turn out and match the powder...had a hard time picking between blue, black, or green for the frame.
