Many of you have seen some of my bike builds on the forum or me always recommending ECU mapping with Jamie from Twisted Development because I've honestly been blown away by some of the mapping changes they have done for me.

He mentioned to me last week that he's going to do free ECU map demos during Thursday and Friday of World Vets at GH. Working with him the last few years, I'm biased and a believer in the way it can change the bike, I thought this would be a great chance for me to link up and make a video explaining what he does and why.

Mapping is the single biggest change you can make to a modern fuel injected bike. So many people just grab a pipe, because it looks good, and thats what they have always done, but mapping makes a MUCH bigger change, and for way less $$.

I had never tried mapping on my bike until my ‘18 KX450. I only did it to get rid of the horrid decel pop, hot running and hard starts. Not only did it do all three, but the bike runs better overall and that was only a pump 91 tube. I’m a believer.

I wanted to go and test some new maps but I can't make it. Hopefully someone can give us a report next week!

When i got my kx450 mapped, it felt like it gained more power than my cams, hc piston, and pipe combined. Was only $100 at tokyo mods. A remap would be the first thing to do to a bike for sure.
