Out of the ones listed I say MXGP 2 and Reflex. But honestly I think my favorite 2 aren't listed. EA Sports Supercross 2000 and EA Supecross. It was the only time we actually had a fully AMA licensed Supercross game with all the real riders, replica tracks and, in 2000's case, full heats, lcqs and full 20 lap mains and points system.

Sure, they weren't as good as 2 and Reflex by today's standards but I like how they had the full license and replica Supercross tracks with the real riders of that era. They both had lots of issues but track scale was spot on and just really cool to also hear Art Eckman and David Bailey on commentary and a tv style presentation.

I really love those 2 EA Supercross games. But MXGP 2 and Reflex are my favorites of the ones listed.

Reflex was really good except.. the reflex mechanic? lol

I like MX vs. ATV: Supercross. I just wish you could customize the bikes traction, power, etc like the other ones before it.

I was looking for that also (I wouldn't have put it as my favourite though), that game was pretty solid and it did some things that no other game really attempted until a long time after. For example it had track deformation, it was pretty crude but the inside line to jumps and the whoops and stuff would get broken down so you had to change up your lines during the 20 lap main. good times

I voted motocross madness 2 just because I have so many great memories from it. I feel like it set the standard.

I can't believe that Jamie Little's MX game didn't make the list.

Where the hell is Championship Motocross featuring Ricky Carmichael for PS1?!?!!!!!!?? Or the Jeremy McGrath SX game also for PS1 I believe.

Seriously though, I haven't played MX vs ATV alive or MX vs ATV Supercross, but I'm sure they great. Did they keep the same rider and bike controls separately like Reflex? That really took it to a huge new level I think. Even though Reflex is a better game, I know the best game memories I have by far are from the original MX Unleashed, because it was so much better than any other MX game ever made up until that point, and the freeride areas were freakin badass. I remember you could get planes, monster trucks, trophy trucks, dune buggies, 50s, and the areas were massive. I think the very next game they really, really toned all of that down and it was a huge bummer. But damn dude I remember so many nights staying up until like 2 or 3 a.m. with my sister and playing that game just jackassing around the freeride spots and bench racing (she was a gigantic MX fan too, we were obsessed).

I voted mx vs atv unleashed. I spent so much time playing that and mx unleashed. the freeride maps were amazing in those games. I like reflex too, and the racing may be better in reflex, but the freestyle gameplay in unleashed was so good.

I voted reflex. It was not perfect but all I ever wanted from it was more tracks! I had countless hours of fun playing reflex

I'd have to go with Motocross Madness 2. For the people who play mx games on PC this was such a gem back in the day. I barely had stable internet back then but it was my very first online gaming i did! It was also the first time i got exposed to user created content such as track replica's and custom gear sets. Mcmfactory.com was the place to go back then. Allot of these things that started back then for motocross games are still ongoing to this day with Mx vs Atv reflex having lots of mods on PC and Mx Simulator ofcourse.

Mx Vs Atv: Unleashed is another really good one for me, it was my personal succesor to MCM2 since there was also online racing and downloable content made by users.

If anyone wanna see some mx games videos feel free to click my youtube in my signature... Lots of stuff on there Cool

Reflex was the best for game play but my. Had a story line you could follow. Start on 125 as a privateer and work up to factory teams. I thought that was the best game out there for years

Motocross Madness 2 hands down. I remember getting off school in like 6th grade and hopping online to race or download new user created tracks. If you didnt experience this game at its peak then I truly feel bad for you. I still play this game from time to time for nostalgia. This game was way ahead of its time.

Excitebike FTW. All other MX games owe themselves to the greatness of the original

Don't care what anybody says, MTX Mototrax was by far the best for feel of riding moto(PS2/1st person). If 'they' duplicated(and updated) that on any other system, I'd actually buy another moto game...

Everyone's opinion is for sure valid but I just could never understand the appeal of mx vs atv unleashed. The tracks were a freaking mile wide and the hot air balloon physics were absurd. Plus hardly any AI riders to race against. To each his own though. I know some didn't care for the EA Supercross games and they are my favorites.

If you voted for anything but MX simulator then you haven't played MX simulator. Tops all of these easily.

The Jeremy McGrath Supercross game also featured a track creator if I'm not mistaken. Possibly the only console game to do that to this day?

With all due respect, I totally disagree. It all depends on what you want from the experience. I DO want realism but honestly I think authenticity and replicating what I see on TV/at the races with all my favorite riders, teams and tracks is more important. To me.

I've played MXS a ton. It is very good but it lacks what I want in a sports game. I want the NBA2K or Madden of Supercross/Motocross. A game where I can play AS my favorite rider AGAINST my favorite riders on all the real teams, bikes, gear and in a points series. MXGP 2 does this perfectly. But being more of an AMA Supercross fan, I still long for that kind of experience for the AMA series. Reflex was great but 3 lap mains in a season mode isn't cutting it.

Really the only Supercross game to even get close to what I am wanting is EA Supercross 2000 which had all the riders, bikes, replica tracks, heats lcqs, 20 lap mains in a full season mode. The follow up game in ways felt better but they eliminated 20 lap mains and heats/lcqs in the season mode for some crazy reason. EA Supercross 2000 had the model dead on. And add Art Eckman and David Bailey in the only SX/MX games to ever offer in game commentary. Way ahead of it's time. Sure the physics are horribly dated compared to now but at least the speed and scale was right, something the MVA series struggles with all the time.

Yeah, MXS has great replica tracks and skins which can make it look spot on for your rider and gear and I could create JS7 or Mookie but I'm still riding against MXS community people, not riding against the video game "versions" of Dunge, KRoc and Bam Bam. So it just isn't authentic in replicating the sport of AMA Supercross/Motocross like the other sports get. But MXS does a lot right with great tracks by the community as does Reflex on PC (Jamie T) and once you get the hang of it MXS is a really good game but playing as me against other guys on the MXS forums just sorta takes me out of the immersion/experience.

Like I said, it's all what you want in a game, I guess. If I want to be me, I'll just go cruise around my local track on my 16 KTM FE 450. But for gaming, I want the whole immersion into my heroes lives. Playing as them. Like if I were playing Madden, I wouldn't not play as Kirk Cousins and just create ME as the Skins QB at FedEx field. That is about as unrealistic as it comes. That's what MXS does. It's very good but not if you want to actually emulate a real Supercross/Motocross season with all the real riders like the other sports simulations do.

I voted for Reflex but honestly all of these games were great in their era. The one thing I wish is that MX had a dedicated gaming community like Call of Duty or any other MMO computer game so that we could get new games and great content on the reg! MX Sim was great in that respect but I believe it has declined significantly since its heyday, but I certainly could be wrong. Regardless support those who support the sport, even when it comes to gaming.

For its time it has to be motocross madness 2. It was only on the PC so I'm sure a lot of people never played it relative to console released games but it was so revolutionary for its time. It also set the groundwork for ATV Off-road Fury, MX Unleashed and the MX vs ATV series. If there's a hall of fame for motocross video games, Rainbow Studios should be in it on the top step without a doubt.

I love in supercross circuit how you can do custom helmet colors.

I've probably played EA Supercross 2000/EA Supercross and MX Superfly/MX 2002 more than any other games. But I have every MX/SX game ever made in my collection still. Right down to MX Rider which covered the GPs way back in the day. Supercross Circuit had cool replicas. It was just way too fast. Still a great game, though. There have been lots of cool games.

Great stuff. We REALLY need a licensed AMA game ala MXGP for our series in America. MVA just doesn't seem willing to spend the money or something. They even made replicas for the broadcasts but wouldn't release them. Who knows. Maybe it is Feld. But I can't imagine why it wouldn't be smart to release those replicas. Their created tracks just don't seem very realistic to me. Not sure why but back in the day before Rainbow took over the THQ games had real tracks (or at least named real...def not replicas).

From what I've seen you've gotta have a works PC to make that game truly stand out. If you do then hands down yes but most people don't.

Mcm2, period. Anyone who votes otherwise wasn't around for what was one of the best online communities in online racing and creating, probably only second to rFactor.

Supercross Circuit had a track creator and it was pretty good for its time if I remember right. Excitebike 64 had probably the best track creator for a console game. A couple other games had it but those are the ones that stick out in my mind.

After playing almost all of these games, up until a few months ago i would have said reflex all the way. Recently i started playing mx sim a whole bunch and man is it alot of fun but also frustrating at the same time! Super hard to be able to ride any good and it takes a lot of time and setup is reallt important. I still suck but i've put more time into it than any other game and i still fall all the time. i was really good at reflex and alive but mx sim is a whole different animal

No question, Reflex. Especially now with all the custom tracks being released daily.
