Where did they find this Sarah Dayley who is hosting? I pretty sure she just said "Cory Hart" when interviewing Carey. He must have been wearing his sunglasses at night.

And I love how the movie voice guy reported that Stewart won the 'Supercross' class in the outdoor nationals

30 minutes in and no actual racing yet.

I guess I can't complain, last year my local station aired a used car lot infomercial instead of the US Open.

That paisely Thor gear they keep showing Reed wearing makes it look like he has a pair of tighy whitey's on top of his pants.

Problem is if you set it to skip commercials you won't see anything. This has been a waste of time if you want to see any racing. It's nice to see all the riders and what they are up to but if you actually wanted to see a race you will be disappointed. I've seen more boobs than I've seen bikes.

The podium interview of the legends race was 3 times longer than the actual race footage.

This has to be the worst MX broadcast we have ever had, by far.

Maybe I was just expecting to see something that was never promised. If anything this is like a "pep rally" for the upcoming SX season. I suppose it's good if that's what you were expecting.

One hour in and no racing yet.

So far the highlight for me has been the Yamaha commercial with the ols school footage.

It was the same last year. Not much content. Just alot of promoting and commercials. Not much to watch if you want to see any racing.

I'm not sure you can tell much from this race. So far I haven't learned anything new except for the colors of the bikes have changed. Chad still looks fast, James still looks faster. James definitely looks good on that blue bike though!

Hey Max! You referring to the video or webcast? You would be much better with the webcast. There was a total of about 10 minutes in this 1.5 hour show. Looks like they have the webcast available for download here:

http://www.ussx.com/webcast08.asp

EDIT: Maybe you can only listen to them online there. I don't see a download.

Reed had a nice little get off.. The announcers crack me up. "Chad is still getting used to his new ride" Meanwhile James has only been on a yamaha for what? 2 weeks maybe?

i don't know about a podcast but there might be a torrent of the race in the next few days. Keep and eye on the torrent section of the forum.

I think that Holley and the Weege need to replace Ralph and Jeffro on the real SX broadcasts.

Sorry , James has been ridin that thing for 2 months. Do you think J S E popped up overnite?

The race coverage suck so bad, but I did like the Langston part. This is why Speed needs to do every race no matter what. And I think this year will be a great battle with JS and CR, cant wait till they come to Jacksonville!

Both guys on new bikes. Reed has been testing his a little longer that James i would say. Definately not a conventional SX style track. Lets not take anything from Reed but James already has him easily covered. We all know if JS would have holeshotted that race it would have been over.
Unfortunately Reed did what the old JS use to do and thats CHOKE when the pressure is on. Smile

You think James was riding Blue while training for the des Nations where he would then switch to ride Green in that race so he could be more in tune with the Blue bike for the US open just becuase he got some JSE stickers printed up for the semi?

I don't think so. He doesn't have alot of time on blue and as we've seen, most of 'em really don't need much time.
