That's 5 minutes of research for an article to post on their home page for views when in reality they don't care if the facts are off.

This is the equivalent of a journalistic cross-rut and faceplant.

Wow. That went all over the place. Hopefully Ralph told him that Tomac rides the green Kawasaki.

Title of article: "Eli Tomac starts quest for third consecutive Supercross Title"

Then from the article, quoting Eli, " “I’ve had two years of winning the most races and being the most dominant guy and not getting the title."

Ugh.

Tomac will look to join elite company in his quest to win the Edison Dye Cup for the third consecutive season

Eli Tomac won the most races and self identifies as SX champion, the race is in California so we must recognize him as a 2 time Supercross champion or face state sanctions equal to those imposed on illegal straw users.

I guess this is what happens when the sport reaches a more mainstream audience? That was tough to read!

No this is what happens when a journalist relies on his past accomplishments and does zero research and even less effort to write an article that he has no interest in doing in hopes that nobody will notice...Piss poor journalism...

This is par for the course. How many global warming/climate change stories are as flawed or worse.

Hi, how may I help you?
I’ll take a #2 combo, hold the recalled lettuce, add non-recalled lettuce, large fries and a large Cherry Coke. And are the apple pies still 2 for $1? No? Ok then, that’ll be it.
