Wow, definitely light on the major players for now. Barcia is always a wild card. I'm most excited to see how AC and Mookie do, as well as Alessi on the big smoker.

I can see AC win a main if Tomac gets a bad start. Pretty sure that kid will not roll over no matter what.

Gajser can probably top 5 in this field. Maybe even podium with some luck (i.e. Bad luck for others)

With the field this thinned out the most interesting thing for me is seeing how Gajser and Tixier do.

This just proves to me what I’ve thought all along that the MEC needs to be in November/December

Wow! That is a weak field. Easy $1,000,000 for Tomac as long as nothing stupid happens.

Is this the beginning of the end of MEC? If they announce next years date and venue (it won't be at Sam Boyd) it has life but if they don't....

I see 4 names or so that could easily get at least 1 moto win.

How many guys aren't riding it because of the gimmick track design/format this year? Reversing the track has got to add a level of risk that I'm sure some guys aren't willing to take for an off season race.

Should it just be called the ‘Eli Kawasaki cup’ that nobody serious challengers can be bothered to turn up to because it’s meaningless and irrelevant?
$1,000,000 is meaningless and irrelevant? I wish I had your problems

Marvin hasn’t gotten back on the bike yet, doesn’t seem like there is a concrete date when he will yet. Didn’t need knee surgery but lots of therapy.

Cooper is still undecided. He rode four times this week and will make the decision next week.

Bloss will race it for RM ATV-MC/WPS/KTM but Baggett and Bogle are sitting it out.

It kinda loses its edge when you’ve already got a couple or more mill in the bank & a secure job. Let’s be realistic- there’s about 3 or 4 riders who have got the ability to win it & they’re all multi millionaires already, so..

And it shows in who can be motivated to enter it.

My nbc sports gold sx+Mx package shows the MEC as the last race of this subscription.

And who REALLY gets excited about a Millionaire winning another million? Honestly?? That money could be so much better spent within the industry to benefit lots of riders.
God knows there’s plenty of chat on here about low paid privateers- we should petition for Monster NOT to award the Million at MEC, but to divide it by the first 30 privateers in the outdoor National series.

Hands up if you care that Eli won ANOTHER million..

Hands up if you care more that the top 30 privateers in the outdoors would be $30k better off..

I reckon I know where the majority would vote.

Oh please. Your thinly-veiled jabs at the MEC are so fucking obvious. You act like des Nations is the most important race of the year from a racer's perspective and then turn around and act like a possible million dollar payday doesn't matter because they ALREADY have a million dollars or more.

Give me a fucking break. You're just here to stir up Euro vs. US bullshit. It's so obvious

Ask Jason how important it is to him?

And I reject your “thinly veiled” comment- I’m not trying to hide it, MEC is a load of shit!

*im looking forward to A1 as always..
