Yep.

Has to be stock but can be stock of a different year... ie Tomac's 14 Honda had a 12 swingarm etc...
modified swing arms are used as well.... you haven't heard about the ama using actual like... actual home depot tape measures to measure these things?
Funny when mathes had no clue why the metal tab moves on a tape measure.

Fork lug is a machined part , swingarm is extruded , only one winner there.

And that is another picture that show's how hard Stew cut down as he is riding where no one has through the bobcat tracks and this is after they have collided which redirected James to the outside. I'm not saying it was anyones fault but just an unfortunate set of circumstances that caused a racing incident.
That's actually a good angle of it where did you find that?

I wish someone made a circular saw where the blade slide the width of the blade.

If you drill a hole in the top, fill it with water then put it in the freezer that ding will pop right out - good as new!

That angle from the stands, someone would think it was a clear intentional take out. It happened so quick. On TV we are blessed with almost instant reply in slo mo. I am sure it was projected to the stands, but not as quick as we saw streamed.

Crazy how hard the hit, and Dungey still able to take off and make the big jump.

There is already a hole in it at the axle adjustment point...

Is dungy still getting crap from some people for this racing deal like he was trying to hit Stewart? Stuff happens. Dungey entered further inside then "normal" and Stewart exited further inside then "normal" You could blame the track for having a corner set up like that and bumps in the trail before it or you could just blame me, why not?? If you look at the 5 and 7 deal from last weekend and think that it is the same as the 800 and 20 deal before you are a complete idiot.
Round 2 in 36 hours wooohoo

So does that mean you are retracting your False? Since obviously a tire didn't do that damage...

Actually take the time to watch the slow motion replays, Dungeys wheel is sideways prior to any impact as he was obviously trying to prevent hitting him. Watch the final slowmo replay on this @ 0:48. It's clear as day:

Dungey runs 50% helium/air in his tires, probably explains the ability of the knobby to gouge the swingarm like that.

i wonder how Suzuki is going to fix that so James can race this weekend, they can try the ice trick but if it were me i would just slap a dunlop stiker over it so nobody noticed

And for good measure since you like screen shots, here is miliseconds prior to impact. Dungey's handle bars are turned perpendicular to Stewarts swingarm, you can tell it's before impact since he is in front of where the dent is on Stewarts bike.

I have watched the video of that crash from both angles so many times. I don't really know what to think. I guess the main points (as everyone has said already)

It was a racing incident with no malice. It was an error on Dungey's part. Stewart did nothing wrong cutting down. Had Dungey not clipped the landing the way he did James wouldn't have crashed and Dungey would have had the braking power.

It was not Stewart riding over his head, he set himself up for that pass at the beginning of the rhythm section. On the podium Ryan said he had it under control but James cut down. After watching it so many time I almost wonder what the hell would have happened to Dungey had Stewart's bike not stopped him. Very well could have launched that corner. Hard to know. I'm sure he had a handful of front brake coming at James which put him out of control even more.

Was on my phone, I thought it was a welded box. Don't drink, don't smoke so I don't think I'm drunk but I did go to the grocery store in Nevada City today so I might have a contact high.
