50 wins is an amazing number. What's even more amazing is that those 50 wins have only netted him 2 SX titles. The math on that almost seems impossible.

Man, I seriously thought RV would drop him and put about 15 secs between himself and second place. I didn't expect RV to let him go. But RV has the title. Why risk it by pushing the edge?

not to start anything but this is why i keep saying dont compare RV to RC , cause RC would race you to death based on PRIDE!! as an athlete your pride would hurt more than anything when you lose

The RC fans used to say the same thing when Reed beat him.

Stewart did a great job of mentally refocusing / calming down the emotions. Once he did, that the race came back to him and it was all his. That was a very spectacular ride. I'm glad he didn't land on that lapper too!

Not that I have a horse in the race but there was nothing "let by" about that. You think RV just slowed down to let Stewart pass him? Or that he wasn't trying to counter attack? RV has the same fire RC had, JS has etc. It just wasn't his night. Yet once again he STILL gained points on 2nd place. Congrats to both riders and thanks for a great race.

my statement was directly for the "in general" type , just something to get off chest & i have seen villopoto settle for postions where if i can remember RC would be like fuck that , im going for that W , i won by 20 secs........... next moto i wana win by 40 secs etc.................

You must not of watched the races in in 05 and 06 when RC let JS7 go on his way to the championship. RV1 is just like RC4
because championships are more important then race wins an with a SX championship this year RV1 will be 2nd all-time in
Championshiops behind the GOAT RC4. Go RV1Woohoo

Bubbas world, sitting out the Nats, Yamahog, wannabe cop, all bad. Glad he is back. He will now get his wish to go back to the MXDN and show the rest of the world wut's up.

Wins wont win championships if you crash out of the ones you dont win. Thats why that number is so screwed. JS went through a very long maturing process where it was checkers or wreckers.
RV has three in a row because he finishes most of his races, win or not.

When Stewart is on it, nobody can touch him. Had he been a healthy Stewart last year, I think we would have seen the same level of performance. What we saw last night was a bit of the old Bubba (charging forward and attacking the track) mixed with a mature James Stewart (the right amount of patience and level of concentration, makes for the perfect rider........and it was amazing to watch

I'll also say that the RMZ seems like a more nimble bike in comparison to the big kawi and Stewart man-handled that thing and made it look effortless, like a 250F.

You can't knock RV though as he's the one with the title to loose and just rode a smart race, as boring as that may seem. Good for him too.
