Cody has taken his last lap here on earth and taken the green flag into Heaven and is now riding on a perfectly groomed track.

It is with a heavy heart that I pass on that Cody has lost his hard fought battle with cancer tonight. He always had the NEVER GIVE UP attitude, but his body could take no more. He is no longer in pain and for that I am thankful. I am so grateful for all the fun times I got to spend with him and his family. Memories I will cherish for a lifetime! His smile will forever be etched on my heart!!

Please keep Cody's family in your prayers as this is going to be a very difficult time for them.

RIP Cody. And I'm very sorry Cherie. I know that this must be really tough for you.

He seemed like a great kid.

Its stupid how much argueing that goes on between people here and how meaningless it is when you read about a kid who passes like this. I have 5 kids, two are 14 and 16, his age. Don't know what the rest of you do but tonight I will hug them a little longer when I say good night to them.

R.I.P. youngster, I didn't know you but you enjoyed racing and that makes us brothers.

Damn...just about speechless...and i drank about a gallon of RB's today...

Like i said in the other thread, thank you Cherie for being there for him and for sharing it all with us, i cant even begin to imagine what you are going through, stay strong as Cody would want you to, and be very proud at how much of yourself you gave, and remember we are all here for you.

Our most sincere thoughts and prayers to Cody, and his family and friends.

Godspeed Cody! You seemed like you were one awesome kid that put up a hell of a fight! And thanks Cherie for keeping us updated. Times like this really suck for everyone that was close to him. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family and friends.
