The "comeback from serious injuries" is done with. It's been years since then now. I think he's healed enough from those injuries to keep bringing it up.

He is just like any other racer. He does what he can do and finishes where he finishes. Nothing wrong with that. IMO, he's not a title contender as he doesn't seem to have the "wanna" like these younger guys do. Piss and vinegar if you will.

at this point pourcel won't win the title but knowing now where he was at when he started the season..... if he starts to win races by the end of the year, is this year a success for him and should a good 450 team take a shot at him for SX/Nats next year?
Would say so, isn't Geico Honda still looking for a replacement for Barcia?

I don't know how much "wanna" or "piss and vinegar" he has but he is still here and he has been through a lot more shit than they have, good and bad..... and still shows he's a better pure rider than them.

I'm glad to see Anderson throwing down some fast laps. Would've been great if he hadn't been injured for the earlier rounds. It could've been a 4 way battle for the points.

What is up with the Oakley Bomb?

I turned on the practice stream late and saw Stew getting the Oakley bomb award but above it has KROC getting fastest lap.

I'm not saying that he wasn't injured, but he came into GH as one of the most prepared guys. I heard Weege say that he wasn't able to ride that much before the season, which isn't true. He was already doing full motos before a lot of guys finished testing and he looked good and was going fast doing them

Do guys like legit have your heads stuck up your asses. This has been CP's motto since day 1. All the talent in the world but doesn't work hard. It's not exactly a big secret he doesn't train hard. I mean are we really going to debate weather CP trains hard? I thought that was common knowledge as NUMEROUS riders and managers have gone on record saying this. Stop being fan boys. Don't give me sh*t either about coming back from injury is preventing him from cycling during the week....

Stew clicked off a 157 first practice session.

Who are these numerous managers? DV? Does DV seem like the most unbiased person on the subject.

He was in good shape in 2009 and 2010. How many hours were on his practice bike is irrelevant. He turned his fastest lap at the end of the races multiple times in those days.

When he broke his back and was paralyzed from waste down he also did some serious nerve damage and now his body does not properly manage body temperature. He can`t train properly and he`s in deep shit when it gets hot.

Sweet pic Old-Man!!!!! I love shots of what an event looks luke with your own 2 eyes, not thru a telescope.

In regards to your other comment, Barcia never rode Geico Honda. Muscle milk is getting Cole Seeley to replace Barcia and Geico is retaining Tomac and maybe Will Hahn but not positive about him. Not many 450 spots for Pourcel, maybe Monster Kawi...Wink

ChrisB10 is a lot like BobbyM or BigLen, you've gotta just let the dumb shit they post on here roll or else you're going to be endlessly arguing with their nonsense.

They said this on last weeks broadcast.. or maybe 2 races back. He cant train hard due to the injury he had a few years ago.
