Okay. Motocross is a sport, a contact sport at that. I believe everybody knows the saying "rubbing is racing" , and well, that's how it is.
I'm an Australian, and I'm not being bias, I respect every racer evenly. But every sport has its dirty sides.
In Australia, we play AFL. Its a beautiful sport and closely resembles poetry. Anyways, In this sport, if and opponent tackles you dirty, gives you a hard time, when the ball comes even remotely near him you punch him in the back of the head. Of course in the highest level dirty play is almost non existent, The game becomes much more clean, but stars of our sport still have to odd temper flare and a bit of behind play roughness happens. NOW I don't know about your baseball or NFL or Hockey, BUT i suspect this is apart of every sport.

What Reed did was Unfair and un-sportsman like, BUT it was heat of the moment, just like when Brownlow medalist Chris Judd chicken winged that guy...

Dirty Play is apart of every sport and to be honest, Its something that should just be dealt with quickly and quietly and just move on from

At least we dont have fights like this in Motocross

The difference is, like you said, they throw an elbow, but they make it look like just an aggressive move in the heat of the game. Chad could have done the same thing and ran Trey high in a corner to make it look like a racing incident, but instead he went and blatantly took him out. Would be like one of your AFL guys walking up the the dude and hitting him in the face in the middle of a time out.

The dirtiest thing about Australian football are those short-shorts everybody wears. Throw in a bunch of hugging, singing, and some reach around through the legs, and I have to wonder what the hell is going on. Is this a sport or some kind of parade?

This is poetry to me. I remember when I hurled my first dead sheep.

Maybe Reed was prepping that little "they can catch me but not pass me" quip he tosses out now and then, but forgot it wasnt Dungey behind him. He certainly didn't reserve any cleverness for the retaliation. I understand what goes around comes around, but that was stupid for a lot of reasons.

is it true you had to invent your own game, with its own rules so you could be world champs in something?

The whole point of your thread is if a guy does something dirty to you it's ok to respond back with a dirty move. I agree 100% EXCEPY Trey's move wasn't dirty!!!
