Who's would you most like to have?

I'd go Astephen. Flies private, does stuff outside of moto, and seems to be pretty damned gold at his job

Want to have:
Roger D or Mitch Payton: Lots of hard work and dedication to be widely recognized as the best in their fields / legends of the sport.

Not want to have: DC: Lots of hard work and dedication to have people like me bitch and moan when the race does not stream correctly.

I would love a moto job.. but the money isnt there. I would think that for a moto media / gear guy/ product rep - you would cap out in the 75K range at most. Matthes says he makes 75-80K all in, writing for 5 magazines and owner of pulp

If money was not an issue, then I would say factory test rider or factory engineer.

It would be cool to test all of the products before they come out on the market. Although I wouldn't want to test the products that are a flat bust. Could be painful/ deadly.

Financial Adviser. I'd love to manage their money for them and teach some of them what their money can do if you don't blow it on stupidity.

I have 4 or 5 jobs but all of them are awesome. Moving to Idaho was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Honestly though, you're are far smarter then the average rider, so guessing you'd be successful after racing wasn't a stretch.

From what I hear it can be pretty frustrating.

Its pretty frustrating just to sit down and talk to them. Most don't trust anyone and the people they do trust have zero idea on how to manage large sums of money.

Yeah, that sums it up pretty well, and when you have regular clients with a lot more money you tend to lose interest in the cool factor pretty quick.

IDK anything but a mechanic. Tearing an entire bike down in 90 degree weather is too much schwetty balls for me.

I don't know if I am or not but thanks for the kind words. The unfortunate side of racing is that 99% of riders end up with no money and even less education. It's a scary proposition for the pro riders of tomorrow.

1st pick would be GuyB's job. he really does have one of the better ones. lotsa travel tho but god damn, that man camps half the year at the best motocross tracks in the world and gets paid to do it.

smart move JT on moving to idaho. awesome state...4 seasons and tons of places to go play there.
