What? We haven't even left yet. We won't start driving to FL until tomorrow and then we'll spend time at another track before heading to Gatorback. Check your calendar.

I think he's talking about the low number of pre-entries. The number of pre-entries is low right now, but there are some guys I KNOW will be there, who aren't entered yet.

Pre entry didn't end until yesterday (which was really cool that we had longer to pre enter!) I'm sure they haven't counted all the entries yet.

We're not leaving until Thursday.

We didn't enter until yesterday.I looked a while ago but the list hasn't been updated yet.Hopefully since Dean Wilson got hurt we will not have to change our number now.I signed him up for 8 classes.

I'm heading over tomorrow to preset the stage and main pavillion and put in the w/l internet. The staging field will open on Thursday with gates opening Saturday morn.

We have a live band on Sunday (7:30 till ?) night for opening ceremonies. Plan on a party! Lots more nightly entertainment...should be a blast all week. Fox Twister; Thor Bingo; Dunlop Tire Olympics; Fox Karoake; Thor Movie night; Fashion Shows; Slowpercross (50cc - no race bikes); Miss Mini O's; Dodge Ball; Thor Thanksgiving Feast....lot's more!

BTW - prices and schedules are posted inside the .pdf file for the entry form on the www.unlimitedsportsmx.com website. Strange, but that's where they are listed.

Add-On BTW - Matt Tedder has 36 entrees this year! Dayam!

Just got back from the track and the SX looks amazing.

Over 3000 pre-entries....largest ever.

Couple hundred motorhomes are already on site.

Tim, there will be a couple South Africans there this year again. Look out for Estafan Du Plessis, Shaun Visagie and Caleb Tennant on Hondas, close to the Honda of Houston truck.

What happened to Dean Wilson?

And how the hell does the Tedder family do it? Aside from the cost, it must be crazy trying to keep all those classes straight. I'm assuming thats 36 classes with mx and sx.

36 * $80 = $2,880

Do you think they get a price break? Damn.

Plus add in all of the travel costs from the West Coast.

Some local tracks here used to give $5 off for additional classes, so if they did that then after the first 16 classes the rest should be free right? LOL!

I love the Mini O's. Our semi left this morning from OK and heading to GPF to pick up Christian Craig. We have to pull in by noon on Friday.

At least the Tedder family saved $720 by pre entering, that might cover the gate and parking fees.

Pretty awesome how semi rigs are going to the Mini O's, and all the other Amateur Nats.

I don't know any details but I've heard Honda cut most of their am. support. In fact I've heard Illinois speedster Jace Owen was affected by this and is now on Suzuki.

I don't think Jace was ever getting Honda support.

Honda cut basically everyone, except the FC guys. A few others got to stay, because of Red Bull money. Jesse Nelson & Kyle Engle.

I know some Honda shops are able to give some support, but it's no where near what it was last season.

HHR will have some kids, but not like they used to.

Ah, so maybe the cutback had nothing to do with the switch. So is he getting support from Suzuki?

I heard they cut a bunch of the support, I know Audette is on Suzukis now because of it....after a good showing last year in the 150 classes.

Nelson is rumored to be off Honda, looking like he may be headed to KAW. Savatgy moved from Honda to Suzuki and big bikes only. Gannon Audette also made the move to Suzuki from Honda. Not sure where Les Smith landed but I don't think Honda is an option this year for him either with their cutbacks.

Honda has basically done away with amateur support, Suzuki's budgets were cut for am support. Kaw has stayed about the same as far as support, but did not add to their support this year as most of their contracts are signed by LL.

Honda cut Vet class support a few years ago and I switched to Kawi. Before that, Suzuki cut Vets and I switched to Honda.

Kawasaki is the absolute best as far as contingency. Within a week, you have money on your card. I can't say nicer things about their program.

I think the falling gas prices are going to lure a lot of people to the Mini O's this year...kind of a last minute family vacation thing. That damn George Bush.
