My original thought when i saw Kenny stepping off was This is Dungeys chance if he ever wants to race again.
Also Blake Baggett came to mind, not sure either could get to speed with 8/9 rounds left.

I think their loyalty to Genova would beat the temptation to ride for Factory Honda like I said before. Especially Vince. I could see Brayton maybe but Vince ? No way. Genova has had his back for a long time through thick and thin. As far as HRC unless something happens to Chase I think they stay the course, maybe let Hunter do a few rounds out East but that's it. Genova's guys are loyal for a reason. With that said, what's Justin Hill's deal? Is he back riding? Go ahead and hit that thumbs down vote option. 😄😉😆

Two guys who haven’t raced in years is the first thought that came to your mind? That’s almost a worse take than putting Schock or Alessi on the bike..

This shit is so annoying. He won a heat race on the biggest stage in racing at the Supercross opener at A1, against the best riders in the world. He had a huge amount of pressure lifted off of his back and got emotional over it. Yet you have a bunch of 50 year old weekend warriors who couldn't even roll a Supercross track, let alone ride one shitting on him. Funny thing is how he gets such a bad rap. Yes his dad has done dumb shit, but is an amazing team manager. Yes his brother made a mistake and fucked with a Lazer pen at Washougal, but also had his brothers back at any cost and seems like a good guy to me. Ya he cleaned out Broc Tickle in Supercross, people get cleaned out every weekend and after they calm down realized it was a bad move. If you ever raced you would understand.
I'm also defending Mike because when he was racing a KTM450 in 2007 at Hangtown, my son and I got there late just as the pits were closing. My son got a few autographs from some privateers, and was bummed but he did get a Millsaps autograph pic lol. Next thing you know we see Alessi walking from the KTM semi to his RV well after the autograph sessions were over. It's about 98° and my boy starts calling his name a few times, he put up a finger saying 1 second. Has a bunch of water dumped over him and walks over to us and gives us both a fist bump, signs my kids shirt, poster and Monster hat lol.Talked with us a few minutes and said he hopes he is retired by the time my boy was pro. In a matter of minutes Mike Alessi made a life time fan, my boy even ran #800. He was a good dude and all you ever hear is the bad shit.

Mike and his wife are for sure good people. Regardless of his antics in the past, whenever I’ve come across them always friendly and willing to say hello and chat for a minute.

Because if you know Tony and Mike, Vince is practically their son. His relationship with Motoconcepts is barely business anymore, it’s family. If Vince wanted to ride a Factory bike for a bit, both of those guys would move mountains to give him every opportunity to do what he wants. Genova has always believed there’s something special hidden inside VF. He’s on the team because Genova wants to see Vince finally figure it out, and with the way Vince has been improving I would not be surprised if an HRC ride and more inner confidence could put him in a new stratosphere. You have to remember… Vince has been on that team since 2015 now. Motoconcepts was supposed to be a stepping stone for VF… he had just podiumed the 250 class championship. Problem is, it took 7 years for what could be that next step.

Funny thing before I read your post I was thinking how much Vince looks like Mike. They could easily be brothers. I still wonder why it makes sense for the MC team. If he filled in is he on 450 Test of year or just the 3 East rounds left? He does or doesn’t go back to the 250 races? Is it a factory bike with SmartTop Graphics (makes zero sense for Honda) or is it a full Honda team graphically (of no help to SmartTop). You seem to have lots of insight here so is it happening?
