Remember one of the old videos that has a segment on Pastrana. They are at the Suzuki test track and Pastrana is talking about how awesome KW's riding style is and how KW was jumping something TP would not jump... that is saying something

Great thoughts on Kevin... add JMB to that list!

JMB was my favorite rider of the 90's because of how easy he made it look. He got me into the sport and soon made me realize how hard it actually was, but still love every second of it. Windham's style is so much like JMB's.

JMB just like Kevin made it all look so simple right up to the point where he (rarely) bailed off... then it was ugly!

Matthes posted a while back that him and Canard were talking about some gnarly gap after a SX finish line jump. Trey said he though he could do it, and Matthes offered him $10 or something to try it. They saw Windham standing there, and one of them asked Windham what he thought of the transfer. Windham said he wouldn't try it for a million bucks, and the Canard/Matthes discussion came to an abrupt halt.

Windham is the man.

He just added a twitter account and it is quite entertaining. His last tweet about family Mx vacation is histarical

Kevin Windham may not be at the top of the "all time win list", but he will always go down as the "all time favourite". That to me beats a championship any day. That and the G.O.A.T. going on about being the most awesomist dude to kick start a bike would be the cherry on top.

We should all appreciate watching Kevin ride while he's here, out on the track. I very much doubt I'll ever get to see him ride in person unfortunately.

That Pastrana comment was awesome when I first read that. There was another comment from MC I had read in a magazine article about 8-10 years ago , and the magazine asked MC " If you could live a day behind anyone's eyes for just one day....who would it be?" He said "He would love to live behind the eyes of KW for that one day , because he does things on a motorcycle that others can only dream about" And that was coming from the most dominant SX rider of all time.......pretty amazing.

I saw Windham when he came back at Glen Helen, he was on the 4 banger and RC on the 2 stroke. Poetry in motion for sure.

Plus, Windham is a rich man, rich in life, not just in propery. He has done very well for himself. A true professional IMO. PR wise, he is worth 10 times what Bubba is.
