Ken Roczen's hand looks to be healing up nicely, and he said he should be ready for the outdoor nationals.

What he described the damage to be on SX broadcast I doubt him being 100% for months.

I agree, total bummer but coming off both upper limbs back to back begs the question of how soon he will be competitive again. I admire his work ethic but am in the camp that thinks he came back to soon trying to make A1. Hope he lets his body heal fully

He looked fine at A1 and only got better. The crash wasn’t his elbows fault. It was a weird crash to begin with

In hindsight he should have sat out 2018 SX because there was absolutely nothing for him to gain by lining up for deathcross that soon. My prediction/hope was he would make his return to racing for the start of 2018 motocross.

I was half right.

I'm really struggling to understand how anyone has the opinion that he came back too early.

He was riding perfectly fine, getting podiums, was up there in points, and just had a freak accident. I dont think he came back too early, seeing that he was gone for a full year.

To be fair OP looking at the outside of his hand tells you nothing about the tendons and bones under the skin.

He already proved the nay sayers wrong once. It looks like he has to do it again when he comes back for the MX series.
Look for KR94 to be a contender in the outdoors.

I was hoping he would start last place and work forward which would have been good for him mentally.
going from the front backwards so fast is not good for a mans mans thinking process

I just hope that he can come back someday and race for podiums. The sport is better with Ken out there racing.

Maybe the question is not did he come back too early to deathcross but maybe the question is should he even be racing deathcross anymore.

Deathcross has caused him to miss 2017 SX season, 2017 MX Season, 2018 SX season, and now 2018 MX season is in jeopardy.

I'm a big KRoc fan. Sucks to see him go through this crap. I wish he would just do outdoors and even better go back to GP's and try and have a full career and just say fuck it to the deathcross shit.

Just one fans opinion.

Just a reminder of how quickly things can change in this sport. He dominated outdoors in ‘16 and was looking unstoppable at the beginning of the year in supercross last season. I would have loved to see him get a win this year in supercross but I’m looking forward to watching him ride motocross this summer. He’s always been a great outdoor rider.

Slightly off topic sorry, are you into your watches then Newman? Trying to save for an AP ROO panda to top the collection off. Went to an air show coulple of years ago, tried to get in the breitling VIP tent. Wouldn't let me in with a Iwc so tried to blag them saying my breitling is in the dash of my Bentley ! Still got told to p##s off Dry Worth a try though.

Ps no I don't have a bently............yet Whistling

So because deathcross injures so many great riders and I prefer to see guys race outdoors and have full healthy careers, that requires juvenile insults from you? Come on. Is that all you got...

Why do you ride, if it's so scary, give it up.

I don’t have one.

My phone has a watch though.

Seems like a heck of a lot of money to be able to tell time. Nice though as jewelry.

I just don’t wear a lot of jewelry.

Is this a Moto site?

Kidding!

The wife bought me a stainless Submariner datejust for our 15th anniversary. Been wearing it daily for the past 18 years beating it around the shop. Best watch ever and still worth more than it cost originally. For our 30th she bought me a Daytona, it stays shiny in the safe most of the time. There may be a Milgauss Blue Z in there as well....such a great looking watch with the green crystal. Stainless, classic, not gaudy or flashy.
