Ken should of never left Aldon. Ever since he left he hasn't looked the same and he can't keep it on two wheels. I think he just cost himself a championship...

Yep. Totally agree. Any other insanely accurate insight you would like to share with us?
It's not like he hadn't crashed when he was with Aldon... He's had some shitty luck, it's why the SX title is the hardest in the world to win imo. 17 rounds of fucking luck.
I think if leaving Aldon did anything, it was give Dungey a confidence boost. That would have been worth the cheque to me, keep that fucker guessing.

It seems the theory that Roczen is so solid and never makes mistakes was in hindsight a bit incorrect. Big drop off since his hot start to the series.
Quite like last year.
Kenny can win races, NO QUESTION, but I think it might a few more years until he can put a season together and actually make a run at a SX championship.
Have to agree - I think over time the little mistakes are adding up and he's lost a little confidence.. Although I would love to see Kenny win it as I think he is the most talented rider out there.. RD5 has this championships wrapped up imo.. Too consistent!
Tomac and roczen with a little bit of consistency/luck are the men to beat.. But until then.. RD5
Dungey has learned ( very well ) how to put a series together, Dude is SOLID. All. The. Time.
he's also faster than ever. the work (and championship sacrifice to build that bike and brand) has paid off. as i've said, if villopoto came back next year, he'd face a different dungey.
No kidding, he couldn't have found anything harder to hit in practice than that wall and his crash in the race was Stewart style. Good thing he is young.

Maybe, but could be coincidence also.
Either way dude showed he is tough as nails tonight.
lets see aldon take a no name to the top then ill be convinced hes something really great. most of his riders have always been champions. right now roczens just doing what he always has, time will tell if he can regroup and pull it back together. Rv did call it about dungey as his pick as the winner this year though

Ken separated with aldon last year ins december. He wasnt that bad in january...
I think it has to do with his oakland Crash. Kinda like after his millville crash he just does weird things. Almost went down a couple of times in the heat race in arlington as well.
He will come out swinging next week (if not the weeks to come) if he can get a decent start. I know it's the same old story but it's just fact. Look at Reedy! He's been struggling all season, get's a great start and BAM!
As long as he can forget those crashes and focus on what's to come (barring injury
) he'll be just fine.
Look at Roczens history......He has always struggled in the 2nd half of a series. Huge mistake leaving KTM and DeCoster.
Anyone else notice that Dungeys bike...

Anyone else notice that Dungeys bike seems to track the smoothest and straightest through the whoops? No one elses bike looks as good as his for sure.
Yes.
new bike, new trainer, new team no RDC. What could go wrong? He's just a young kid, too.

Edit- ya, not a rookie, but 20 years young and still has plenty of time to mature on a 450

Dungey has "racecraft".
It's going to cost him at least a year.
