Looks like Chad moved over on him, although probably not on purpose.

Nice view that clearly shows its fully Chad's own mistake. He almost clipped Millsaps, but again, that was also his own doing. Anyway thanks Chad for the shit comments about other riders while it was your own fault. Oh and for ruining the race.

I don't see what the big deal is. Pretty obvious what happened in the race....Reed swapped, whiskey throttled, got crossed up with some guys in a first turn crash. Uh, that's racing. Big f'in deal.

Reeds fault but unintentional.

His wife's comments were very intentional. Like I said before she should take a page out of Wes Welker's wife's book.

Either way, ir's racing and crashes are going to happen, intentional or unintentional. It's just part of the sport.

Oh. You don't think he was intentionally trying to ruin his night in the first 20 seconds of the race? You might be on to something. Wink

Yeah Grant really deserves blame for going straight and holding his line against the inside of the track.

If you watch closely DM18 clips reeds tire. Reedy then planted his right foot (explains the MRI) to save himself but it shoots him right. You honestly cant blame anyone. It was Davi who got Reedy going the direction he did. Its a racing incident.

This is about the most sensible comment I have heard about this whole thing.

"Reed ruined the race". "Reeds fault". "Intentional". Yeah, I'm sure Chad's plan all along was to knock everyone down, himself included, and finish outside the top ten, potentionally damaging his championship run.

Totally agree with you 100% - except....

The "Big" deal is that when Stewart does something similar, there are quite a few people here that have a hay day hurling blame and slamming Bubba ad nauseam. Which I guess would be fine if they were consistent across the board to all the riders.

The deal is that when Reed clearly screws up, the people who are so quick to lay the blame on Stewart for a screw up, blindly defend Reed as if Reed had no part in it.

If it wasn't so blatantly pathetic, it would be humorous...

Yeah yeah....I knew that was coming. In some crashes, completely rider independent, the rider does a bone-head thing and takes the heat. That take-out move Grant put on Alessi at Thunder Valley was a good example. Heck, Reed's done a few himself, and there was criticism (I recall some take-out moves of his against Stewart being at least one of those). RC got the heat when he took out Pastrami. So, I think any guy who does something borderline gets criticized, and often rightly so. Stewart has done a few himself (like pulling back on to the track without looking). And, most of the criticism I read around here is justifiable. Not all, but most. Sure, if a guy's a moron a lot (like Sorbe), he's gonna get tagged as it, and it's tougher to accept his incidents as accidental.

It should be pretty obvious this wasn't intentional. In fact, Reed reminded me of my inabilities, and I laughed my ass off (embarrassingly so). If you really see this as intentional, you're being biased.

You guys are watching the video, right? How fast things happen, how fast stuff has to be processed and reacted to, all while trying to charge and not give up any track position?

It's racing. Someone's always going to end up unhappy.

As long as every rider is held to the same standard, yup. Even if that's too much to expect, it's not too much to note.

If they would allow the riders to be in contact with their mechanic during the race, this wouldn't of happend.. Just thought I'd get the "stupid" out there before someone else who was serious with that thought did.. wink

On a side note did any of you guys see the comments on Grant's Facebook after the race. Some douchebag calling him names saying he was gonna punch him in the face if he ever saw him. Blaming him for the whole thing.

Blows me away that people are like that. They are racers man. Just a bunch of dudes riding dirt bikes on a track.

Both Davi and Chad hacked Stewart (the King of hacking) on that one. Do you blame either one of them? They were doing exactly what they should: hack or be hacked.

JGR has stated you can only hear the mechanic in the corner when the gas is off with those devices.

What exactly would it change in that situation?
