Hansen hitting gate ?

Not sure if this has been discussed or not. I noticed Hansen tried to time the gate drop and was rolling before it dropped. Do they not have the block behind them anymore that doesn't allow them to roll on the start?

Hansen needs to quit blocking passing people and trying to jump the gate. Just go race man, focus on yourself and let it come. He was fast this weekend.

What do you mean "quit block passing"? It's racing, Hanny tried to gain as many positions as possible in the short time he had. No time to wait for an opportunity to go around somebody. If anyone leaves the door open on the inside, it would be stupid not to use that to pass them. If you're on the outside on the other hand, you should back down and hope for a chance to retaliate or get ready to hit the deck. It's racing 101.

Hanny has to get some attention one way or another. I love how he stays true to himself and never finishes a race without parking someone.

Yes there is a block behind them still. You can see it in the tv broadcast. They don't put it so close though that your right on the gate. Tou still have over a foot maybe two for room.

He doesn't need to be running guys into the tuff blocks before a triple in a heat race. He should have hopped in behind the guy and watched his lines and chilled out. Hanny's heart rate was probably maxed out going back and forth with that guy for a lap. He could have chilled out and focused on his own race. Hanny can go faster than most all of those guys if he get's his stuff together.
