seriously though, Bike sales for 2013 has been good to me and Motoworld of el cajon. Polaris RZR XP 1000, RZR XP 4 1000, and the complete Polaris product line have def. helped this years sales #s.

I'd recommend anyone who is motivated to sale, motorcycle dealerships are nationwide. Find a local dealer with good reputation and inventory. I sold for 9years outside Charlotte NC at a multi-line dealership WHILE going to college, getting an associates degree in business/marketing. Then moved across the country to Motoworld of el cajon a little over a year ago for my wife to further her education.

I got a pretty good schedule I must add: 8:30-3pm OR 1-7pm during the week, work saturday 8:30-6. and work every OTHER sunday 11-6. 1 weekend a month your off friday at 3, sat, sunday, monday off!!! I get 2 days during the week off which equals 2 days a moto a week!

I work what ends up being 2 full-time jobs in the industry. Once you take taxes, rent, utilities, food, gas (except travelling to races) more bills, and other stuff, it can get a bit tight. I pay the bills and get by with no problem but I'm definitely not rolling in the dough afterwards

But, I'm at a race nearly every weekend during the season, take my personal time to go to various local races on weekends off and off-season, I get to hear/see all sorts of cool "behind the scenes" stuff, and I've gotten to know some really awesome people over time. Overall, it's more than worth the time and effort to me. It definitely doesn't happen overnight and it's definitely something you have to do for the love of the sport, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I've never worked in "the industry" but I must say, after listening to the podcasts between matthes and weege about how it was getting to where they are now, it seems like a tough road. I definitely respect them, and everyone else who has worked hard to succeed in the moto community.

As a moto guy, I like to work with moto fans. Job listings on this site dont have to be ONLY moto industry jobs could be any position.....I think this is a great idea.

Or even help riders find what they're looking for like a personal trainer that knows the sport. Maybe even ex pro's can offer up some training or something.

Wow, stop being lazy guys, you sound like a bunch of left-wing college kids. While you guys sit here waiting around for a team to post an opening, the guys who really want to work for the industry will already have jobs. Go out there and contact teams/businesses yourself, introduce yourself and show them that you not only have the qualifications for the job, but will do almost anything to get it. Remember, if they post an ad in this "employment section" do you know how many applicants they will be getting, what makes you think they'll want YOU?
