What the fuck happened? He pulled an Alessi like anchor test out there. I hope decoster buys him a pair of running shoes or something.

I'm a big fan of deano and I still think he has the potential to win races/championships if he's on, but its getting pretty disappointing seeing his finishes lately.

This isn't the mid 90's. It's very surprising to me that a guy with his resources can't get a handle on a problem like this. A race here and there is one thing, but to throw yourself into on coming traffic nearly every race is something that a top rider in the world should be able to figure out.

.......And he helped blow up my fantasy picks since he was a handicapped underdog......lol.

Is Ryno still part of his picture?

I picked him this week and needed a 13th. He was in 8th and looking good. I was expecting him to go forward from there. Didn't even consider him going back to 13th. How about 17th??!!

Seely faded bad too. How about Josh Grant? Does he win the prize for the rider with the most erratic results in the history of MX?

Funny I had all three riders in my fantasy and was thinking the same thing. Grant couldn't even get me an 18th.

Deano is my favorite rider, but I noticed tonight that he is the only rider doing 75 jumping jacks behind his bike on the starting line when everyone else is sitting on their bike.

Ugh, this is not good. Wilson is such a good rider..just look at how he was in the 250s..talent for days that kid has. This appears to be such a mental issue with him. Go watch him on a 250 and look at how his confidence showed on that bike. His demeanor on a bike now woud indicate he has no confidence...he just does not seem to be the Wilson tha was on a 250. IMO this doesn't appear to be a 450 bike thing, he just has confidnece problems, why I dont kow...kid is sooooo smoooth (and faster than currently showing) when he is on it.

What had really has happened to Wilson? I dug him when he came on the scene, squiky funny kid who was insany fast. Went 1-1 at Pala to end the 2010 Nationals. Flowing SX he shows promise and wins an outdoor title. BOOM! Since then? Got a crazy accent, douchy comments on social media. Tangles with a bull, in Tomac, and gets the horns in SX. Hurt no outdoors. No good 450 rides, shifty experiment going back to PC. Everyone had him pegged along side Tomac to be the future. But now it's Roczen Tomac they talk about. Delano's back at the end of the pack. Too much success to fast? He party it up? I never thought he could touch Tomac but he's gotta b better than this

Didn't Langston have an issue with that and had surgery for it? And that was ions ago as far as modern medx goes. If he has some condition they could fix it right away, I would think. While he's at the doc 'so perhaps they could see what's wrong with his Scottish accent that gets thicker sone days than others. And that he didn't even have one a couple yrs back. Ha j/k hope he gets on track, one more badass on the track. He will never win a 450 title but not many do

Not sure if GL had it but a few Aussie pros got it done, don't think it made much difference.

Personally, I started getting it when I got tall, knees don't hit the seat or tank... Possible Deano was 5'11"" when he turned pro, he's definitely grown looking at team photos... Could be that. Arm pump Sux balls!

I think he probably isn't gelling with the KTM. They aren't the easiest of bikes to get used to

Funny, I heard him say last year he thinks he'd be faster if he was shorter. That can't help mentally when you start thinking that way, whether he was joking or not. I think he'll turn it around, you can't teach speed and he has plenty of that. Just needs to get this other issue sorted out.

Taking out of the equation that he is a super nice guy, has great speed and style, I've always wondered about his mental strength. I think this is what separates any of the top 20 guys out there. They all have the speed, talent and ability but the difference is mental. This is purely an observation and a guess and I hoped he would be killing it but at this point he can't even beat Baggett in SX.

Combination of arm pump and getting wrapped up in his head too much. Unlike Tomac, Bagget, Anderson etc. he hasn't shown an "I'm here to win" mentality or riding. More of a B class rider being cautious practicing with Pros.

I'm curious if he gets armpump at the test track during the week or if it is a race thing. If he is getting it at the test track he needs to go to a doctor, if he is a only getting it at the race than he is just riding tight/over thinking.

I understand what you're saying, but it is pretty mentally challenging to win a outdoor title isn't it?

It IS mentally challenging to win an outdoor title for sure but he seems to have lost that mindset or confidence he had probably because of all his injuries. That's the way it goes.

I've been saying this for awhile, DW is a mental rider. Since that Jeff ward racing team debacle he's done nothing. He felt that he deserved to be on a 450, signed with JWR, the team folded, he had to go back to PC kawi and ride a 250 which in my mind he felt like it was beneath him, and he was expected to go out and wax the field only to get blown away by the younger up n comers and get bit by the injury bug and "arm pump" issues. That, in and of itself started the downfall and he hasn't been able to recover mentally. I know I'll get flamed for saying it, but can you come up with another reason? He had 3 years of getting beat by guys he should have been blowing away, he injured his shoulder multiple times and also had the nasty get off at GH, he wasn't really able to do much on the 450 besides the one good ride at Daytona. I don't know how a full factory KTM 450 ride next to Ryan dungey under the watchful eye of "the man" was supposed to fix all the issues. After the first round at A1, anyone that said anything about DW was flamed, what's the excuse now after watching him 2 weeks in a row and last night drop anchor?
