Judging by his choices in apparel last night I’m guessing the rumors of him being out at Rockstar Husky may not be Rumors.....

Yes, they dropped him. From what I have seen, GuyB has been the only industry person to mention it, but I believe ML512 might have confirmed it in another thread when he said he hoped Thomas found a solid ride for next year.

Satellite Yamaha 450 in the GPs, that is the talk on the street.

Gebben Yamaha with Monster Energy support. But the main question here, is that his sis or his wife?

Yeah, back here on a 450 , he is a good rider, but injury and illness did for him. I honestly think he should have stayed and had his last year in MX2 , but he wanted to go while the deal was there.

Another guy to add to the strength in depth.

Indeed... A quick look at her instagram and a read a round on her Spotlight page learns us that she has been in Nintendo Commercials and some other commercials too. She did some acting and did some work for Eurosport from British Motocross and also for Sky Sports for the 'P1 World Jetcross'.

I'm not really home into that world, but working for two big Sports channels couldn't be and wouldn't be a fluke. Maybe now she can work her way into the MXGP series, putting Leyland on the side, not a big fan of her. I still miss the Amy Dargan days.

PS: Covinton' girls seems to be a former Miss England competitor too. Both did well! I think he did the best catch, and that is a compliment for her.

Is he healthy now and riding? If he is not contracted Husky anymore why new Yamaha deal is not public?

Hoping that we find out one day , exactly what the hell happened to him over this past year. Fighting for wins over in the GP's , and here was just terrible. Hunter Lawrence was around the same speed as Thomas over there , came here and did real good. Fought for wins. I hope he gets back over into the GP's , as he seems to fit in better over there. Bummer , because I really wanted to see him do good here.

Hopefully he can maintain this real ride cause that’s not a contract you want to be dropped from

Thomas was faster than Hunter in the GPs. He also had much better equipment though.

Probably the same as when he raced GP's before: 64.

It would explain fading but not the substantial drop in outright speed. He was straight up not qualifying in SX and riding around outside of the points in MX. Gotta be one of the strangest/most puzzling stories in recent memory.

On last week's MX Vice podcast they all but confirmed him returning to MXGP on a Yamaha. I hope it goes well for Tom, seems like a nice kid. Shame he had to lose a season of his career to Supercross, when it probably was never in the cards for him to come back and succeed.

I think that may be the easy , go to type answer , but that doesn't really explain the shear drop in raw speed. He wasn't just fading in motos or SX.....he was way of the pace. I was thinking maybe that knee of his hadn't healed right?? Or something else we don't know about?

Yeah, there is a huge change in what we were seeing over the previous 2 years to what we saw last year... This is the Covington we expected to see.

Could be...I also believe it wouldn't have been such a transition had he skipped sx and waited until nationals...the kid has speed, but this past year has been rough on him...
