My son started racing a indoor series out at switchback mx the place that is having the big rv pitbike race this weekend. Its located in Pa and it gets cold inside the arena.
I was looking at getting him some cold ridding gloves FLY offers there Windproof gloves and then they have 907neoprene gloves.
Has anyone use either one? which one would be better for indoor AX Racing??

I don’t have any experience in any of these but check out FXR as well. They supply a lot of Snocross guys.

Put rubber gloves under your normal ones. Windproof and better feel than thick winter gloves

x2 for the Surgical gloves under whatever gloves you already wear.

I have both of those gloves for Snocross. They work well for small time periods in the EXTREME cold (put latex under them in extreme condtions) but in just regular cold/cool temps the gloves alone are just fine.

I use to wear surgical gloves underneath my riding gloves. Get some that are snug fit. Good luck.

Downfall is that your palms can get sweaty really quick and hard to grip. Add some baby powder, not a lot, and it helps out a lot.

FXR Cold Stop Race Lite MX Glove

That's their MX version of the snocross gloves. The snocross gloves have few more features like silicone traction palm, armored knuckles/finger, etc.

They both have a warmth rating of 3.

I certainly didn't have luck using rubber gloves under my regular gloves. My hands started sweating and then the sweat started to freeze. Pretty sure I almost got frostbite from that little experiment.

You might try putting the gloves over your sleeves before velcroing them tight

I’ve had good luck with the 100% Brisker glove.

I have used these down into the low 50s/ upper 40s with no issues. I would think they would be more than warm enough indoors.

I ride with the Fly 907 glove in the winter. They keep your hands warm and the palm is thin like the regular MX gloves.

I use the 100% neoprene backed gloves and they work well for me.

I wear the fly wind proof gloves in the winter and they’ll be perfect for it. They’re short races in AX, you don’t need to go crazy and over complicate things. I definitely stand by the fly glove though, I have 2 pairs and they’re not super thick and can hardly tell the difference.

Fly windproof!!! They are awesome, must have in the gearbag for any cold weather mx riding. As soon as your pumped up riding/racing around, these will take you right down to freezing temperatures.

It happens when you're riding in the mountains!

Ive got these gloves. They’re awesome for cold days of moto. Like 40 degrees outdoors. But at some point even inside 20-30 wind or not it’s cold. But they for sure noticeably take the edge off. I hate cold hands.
