It's motocross not F1 so it'll happen as scheduled.

I'll be there with a poncho! I had planned to go ride today but everything else is closed down, so I'll be seeing you all at the soup bowl!

A reliable source contacted me and said it is very likely that ALL racing will take place on Saturday. We have a good plan in place and it seems very likely that everything will happen on Saturday and the amateur ride on Sunday will go as planned.

Meeting at 9am

Swap F1 for speedway.

2 drops of raid and those guys stop racing.

Thanks for the update Lump... Keep'em coming. I'll be there as soon as they'll let me in. Can't wait to ride the track Sunday

Even Beto Carrero (Brazil 2012) didn't get rescheduled.

Fresh dirt just trucked in and dumped and now the edge of a tropical storm. Those bikes may sink through all that new soil. I'd like to see them give it a day. Today looks rough and I'm sure they can't cover all that.

8-12 inches of rain here in FL the last two days.... I will most likely still be there Smile Guess I'll be "storm chasing"

I have been through these storms and there is tons of lightning and at the NJ SX they made everyone leave the seats when lightning near by.

Not like there is a huge building everyone can go into.

The majority of the rain (around 3 inches for Charlotte) is supposed to happen today. The rain should be gone when gates open on Saturday but may be a little windy.

Local weathermen are saying that a couple of miles will be the difference between heavy rain and not so heavy rain in the Charlotte area. Let's hope that since the speedway is actually in Concord(which is a little north of Charlotte) that it will not get the worst of it.

Has a race ever been rain delayed? Not talking due to lightning or hurricane/tropical storm, but couldn't race due to too much rain?

The track was rolled and the corner I just stood in was only an inch or two deep. I think there are meeting going on to decide if they push the whole program until tomorrow and leave the track alone until the rain passes

Getting ready to head over there in couple of hours as rain has started this am!!! Track is sealed supposively and have herd talk about possibly running qualifiers tomorrow earlier before motos which might be a wise decision and forecast for tomorrow looks damn near perfect and should give ample time for them to get track ready!!! Gonna try and go meet a few of the guys and I'll try to get some pics!!

Paul Malin just tweeted this. If they moved the qualifying races I'm sure he'd have said.

Looks like we got real lucky with the weather! Could've been the REAL storm that hit Florida, thankfully this is only dry rain @mxgp

I know most don't want to hear it but a man made track like this has it's advantages. it is much easier to maintain and safe in conditions like this. it's not all bad...

A few miles could very well make all the difference here! Hope it works out!

I'm hoping for a mudder. Much more interesting and fun to watch and we can always look forwards to some serious racing at GH.

I was gonna say ... since when did F1 stop racing in the rain? I've seen those dudes race in torrential downpours when they shouldn't be out there.
