So I just picked up some fresh white gaerne SG12s in white and was curious if anyone on here had some tips to share about keeping them looking clean and new for as long as possible?

Many regards! Smile

When I saw your thread title I was going to pop in and say don’t get white boots...magic erasers will help keep them white. I would say wash them every ride.

Toothbrush and kitchen bleach spray.
Use bullshit spray after so they’re nice and shiny

Doing some mud motos tomorrow as it’s going to rain non stop for the entire day. Do you think he will mind that they will be suuuuper muddy? The dirt around here is a very sticky gooey clay Whistling

I would do it myself but I just get so hot and sweaty and my white t shirt becomes drenched and stained Sad

Put them upside down on a traffic cone and pressure wash them..then spray them down with full strength simple green, let it soak for a minute then scrub them with a stiff brush and then pressure wash again.

My question is how often do you guys wash the insides? And for tech10 owners, do you machine wash your booties occasionally?

If you constantly wash the booties in the machine wash, they will start to fall apart. A lot of the bootie is held together with glue and heat along with detergent will start to break down the glue.

That’s what I was thinking. But I have 20hrs on mine and they’ve never been washed. Also at glen helen the grains of dirt/sand are the perfect size to go through the mesh liner inside the boot. Pain to get them out going to have to wash the inside eventually.

There is a dude here on Vital who may wash them boots for free... including your stinking sweaty gear...all hand washed with tender love.

The key is to spray the inside of them out at full blast from about two inches away

I use my "bike brush" on my boots with the same soap as I use on the bike. Give them a pressure wash and my white boots still look new (but they are O'Neal RDX).

He prefers you wear them while he’s cleaning as well . 🥴

Magic eraser and westley’s bleach white for the exterior of white boots. (Yes the white wall tire stuff)
I use a pressure washer but like. 45-60 degree nozzle and back up a bit. Super muddy of course presoak is your friend. Never had an issue also I went away from white boots as a solution 😂

Simple Green. I use it on everything. Spray, let it set, scrub, and wash.

I have white SIDI boots and the only thing I found that will clean them with minimal scrubbing is Masterson's leather care spray.
