Working on modeling the new Leatt 8.5 helmet while listening to qualifiers. Got the visor finished up, still working on shaping the shell into the right shape.

King making good points about why timed qualifying practice (I laugh every time I hear it, say it, type it) isn't the greatest thing ever. It should simply be called qualifying.

I agree with his take.

Says that by the time the 250 guys finish their main event the track is so beat up that there's really only one main line for the 450 guys. Get a start and stick to the main line. That's what we've been seeing.

He personally loved going out on a fresh track because it allowed him to go anywhere.

The 250 guys having a fresh track is why he thinks there's better racing in that class.

It's Motorcross not MotoGp or Supermoto if they can't handle rough tracks they better put some asphalt on it.
