Did order one soon as Yamaha opened books. Cant wait to ride bike after hearing these reviews. Rear seems really high with 95 sag so have to see how that works in soft sand.
I am guessing it wasn't ML512... but a Mod that loves "cancel culture" among other things...
I clipped it. Not stoked on how he's been acting towards us / me as of lately.
At least, I think, we're past the point of his IG followers calling me a liberal piece of shit. Considering I'm conservative by nature, I found that somewhat entertaining.

I can respect that decision and regret jumping to conclusions.
Might have to go* the 450 route. Universal praise so far.
We could nitpick tiny things, and say ohh maybe this is a little better on this bike or that on another bike...but it was very well rounded. I was impressed.

Compare to Honda?
Im just always apprehensive to completely buy into something based off paid media guys first videos.. not that I don't trust them, but money talks. Maybe not direct pay from them, but....
I bought my 21 WE early without much input other than everyone loved ergos n mapping sucked. It's been great so far but the new blue has my eye.

Well that's a real bummer and very disappointing to hear.
Don't' know what the beef is....but for what it's worth, I think you've really taken this place up several notches since taking the reins. I think most would agree.

I'll play the old "I'd give you a better answer once I ride it on a track I've spent time on"

After all the first rides on the ktm’s were good(and later found out to be not good) I’m being a little patient with my optimism until they hit the dealers.

Not a Ping hater, but ride the bike some more before it’s the greatest bike ever.
I remember reading the first reviews for the 2010 YZ450.
At least the Yamaha has this: The other new bikes didn't seem to even be aimed at the marks the customer was pointing towards the target.
The new Honda is even more sharp-edged, when most buyers said they needed to relax the bike. And the new KTM seems focused on re-working the chassis compliance, when that was the big thing riders liked and attributed, probably myopically, to a steel frame.
The Yamaha appears to be lighter, thinner, and roomier ergonomically, which is everything buyers specifically asked for.

I'm not even joking. Let's find a way to make this happen.

I used to lay an MXA magazine in my English book and read the bike test's 20 times.
I never invite first time testers for a Shootout. But maybe we could figure out how to get you in one in the future after we do something in between to decide if it's even a good idea or not.
PING
The Shop
I like how it kinda hides the tank there and you have actual plastics connected there!

I do like Ping and his content as well.
EDIT: Reins!!!
But I'd spend my own money on it no problem.
