Tires mounted along with rotors and sprocket. Bike is starting to come together. Pre ordered the new polishport restyled plastics kit excited to see what it looks like in person. Also going to send a few items off for cerakote (covers on cylinder, rear brake hanger, rear break caliper, and possibly triple clamps. Suspension will be sent to factory connection for revalve along with DLC coating for lower tubes and shock shaft. Also plan on having the fork lugs hard anodized. Finishing it up with some graphics. I will get some better pictures tomorrow when its light out.

I really like how this is turning out. that caliper is kick a$$! I have a 19 250sx with 5 hours on it and I'm not so sure if it's any better than my rm250. It may be lighter but you can't tell riding it. One things for sure though. The gear spacing on the Rm is definitely better. It's less work to keep the engine in the sweet spot without using the clutch.
Anyways, I can't wait to see the new updated plastic with your graphics. Should be wicked.!

When you put your air box back together, did you use the foam gasket or silicone or gasket maker?

Looks awesome! As I was reading it, I was thinking about the restyle kit--- cool its on the way, and also was thinking this needs a slash of DLC, and of course you have that covered!!! Gonna turn out beautiful---- I'd only do 2 things more---- 1. Rethink covering your nice finish of the clamps and 2. removed the scalvini badge to make it a bit more unique! Looks Great- especially if you can match the graphics to your 450!

Look up 3M SAFETY-WALK 7741 GRAY ANTI-SLIP TAPE. I normally get the 4" x 60' roll on ebay It's around $100.00 but you can do about 30 sets which is way cheaper than buying them each time. Its a rubber material so it doesn't hurt your boots whatsoever. I take masking tape and draw out a pattern then use that to cut it out. I also suggest a heat gun when applying to help it stick to last longer, learned that one from trial and error.

@Motofool.....brother , you did a kickass build on this RM and she looks sweet! I really have to finish mine as well , and it's the next project on the list. And like you , I'm building it to ride it. Maybe not an every weekend thrasher bike , as I have a couple of newer Husky's for that , but she will be used! Great job on this scooter dude , she looks great!
