Adding a 3 race, tricked up escalating points format to a riders championship total is a complete cheese move. Deegs calling himself a 5 time champion turns it into blue cheese.... jmo.

It’s weird how we went from each series completely ignoring the existence of the other (sx/mx) to now where they almost ignore the fact that there is a supercross championship. Calling it round 4 of 31 is weird to me. A 3 round “championship” called the playoffs, that isn’t in playoff format is beyond ridiculous. While I’m ranting, these aren’t “hybrid” tracks either, they are SX tracks without whoops

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't smx a response to wsx after ama dropped fim? They were afraid that wsx might grow into a straight-on competing series, drawing riders and fans away. I'm not all that jazzed on smx or wsx and I do miss monster cup, I thought it was a cool one off race. I know I'll get heat for this but the season is way too long, for a great many reasons I think the sport would be in a better place if there was 10 sx race season, 10 outdoor season and the other odd...

Playoffs are cool and the money is awesome, but I don't love the categorization of SX,MX "SMX" grouping everything together. We had the broadcast claiming RC is a "12 time SMX Champ", Sorry but no, get out of here with that nonsense. Man, I do miss the 20-teens era. We had Monster Cup, Straight Rhythm, better video coverage, and no SMX circus show playoffs. We had a proper 12 round MX series, and SX had better track builds. In RBSR, we had the likes of Travis Pastrana piloting a 500, and we had RV on a 125.. Retired guys would...

Are you new to the forum? Almost every thread contains someone making a derogatory statement about a rider, followed by fans of that rider standing up for him. It’s not a new thing..

Like it or not, it's probably a production cost issue. I'd bet you can buy 50 drones for the cost of a floor broadcast camera.

They’re to cheap to hire more cameras and men to have the ground cams. Go back and watch a race from 2013ish and tell me what we have now is a better product. It’s not.

I’m starting to get tired of their lazy drone angles from 40ft in the air. It’s such a crutch. Get some real coverage on the ground. The spider cam wasn’t even this bad.

I wouldn’t mind emulating his bank account but there’s no way anyone could pay me enough to emulate his social media presence. You say Cameron is cringe on the podium but apparently no one’s ever showed you Deegans TikTok page. Looks like he should be hanging out with Derek Zoolander.

Yes, everyday young Cooper would rise at 4.30am and scrub his parent's log cabin from top to bottom using only his tongue. He'd then go and work in the local coal mine from 5.30am to 10.30pm with only one grain of rice to sustain his labours. Finally, after again cleaning the house until it was spotless using his tongue and...

Now that his sisters home, maybe we can get a podium speech that’s shorter than the heat race.

I’m in the camp of I’d rather not hear either of them on the podium. They’re both cringey for different reasons. On a side note I find myself completely tuned out on 250s this season so far. It’s not even just that one guy is running away as much as it’s just kinda boring all the way through the pack. Or at least what’s been televised anyway. Feel like the East/West split has run its course. I’d much rather see the best on 250s race every weekend.

This is definitely Cam’s normal personality. I don’t think he’s trying to sell an image, he’s just being himself.

Good, so it's not just me cringing everytime they come up with a "we didn't have money back then" rider story. I was also very fortunate to grow up riding and racing dirt bikes as a kid and I've seen all kind of families. Some families for sure make more sacrifices than others, no question about it. But if you can afford going riding or to races every weekend, you're not BROKE. In some rider segments they make it sound like they had to grow up in slums

Webb was hand picked by American Honda to be the face of their CRF150 and they even got him exhibition races in front of the entire industry at pro nationals under the guise of the "CRF150 Cup". He rode for American Honda and was a Red Bull JAMS racer for 4 years before signing with Rockstar Star Yamaha to transition to big bikes and then the pros. 99.9% of prospective racers would give their left nut to have his "struggles." I'm sorry he was consistently beat by AC but this is why some people to this day don't like him...
