I'm a fan of chaos so I hope he wins SMX this year just so we can see everyone meltdown here. 38 and his fans would carry it like it was the most prestigious title and everyone else would argue it was a title that didn't count. It would keep this place lively all the way up to A1 when things start mattering again.

9/7/2026 5:42pm The outright speed is what I’m talking about. You are a big Dungey fan so I won’t harp on him, he’s without a doubt one of the greats and he did it with relentless consistency. I’m taking Eli every time though. Eli and Jett only raced each other at full health head to head in that one sx race. They...

9/7/2026 2:32pm RD isn’t even in the same class as ET or RV. It’s okay if you favor him over Eli but it’s not even a close comparison. Give me RD’s most impressive performance and I’ll give you twenty from Eli that are better. RD would never beat a healthy Jett even on Jett’s worst day. Eli made it look easy.

I am curious- What was the buzz on the ground during the moto? Assuming everyone was thinking the same (Jett threw the moto)….enough that you felt the need to post he didn’t..Which means it also appeared to you this may have happened..

I’d argue that Kenny only got those two titles because of Eli’s injuries. Eli absolutely smoked Kenny in 2013 outdoors, then the meat grinder of 450 sx took him out. Kenny in 2016 outdoors was one of the best mx season I’ve ever witnessed, but hard to say that 2015 perfect season until getting hurt Eli wouldn’t have been up for the challenge. That woulda been such an epic summer!

9/6/2026 5:32pm I’ve only ever seen RC, JS, and ET3 stomp the living shit out of other would-be goats—at their peak. What Eli did to prime RD in ‘15 mx for me ends all discussions about who is superior. From then on RD had to capitalize whenever Eli shit the bed and that was about all he could do to beat Eli...

Tomac, Hannah, JS7 just had some of the most entertaining races ever. Something special for sure. Probably ET had more than any of them.

Another Tomac thread, but! Even this week on podcasts guys still talk about Stew being 2nd all time in total wins while Tomac passed Stew this year. We have a Jett tracker on this forum and we like to break wins up by SX and MX but Tomac has 57 450 SX wins, 32 450 MX wins and 12 250 MX wins. Which means he has 101. He’s only the second guy to pass 100 total wins and there is not much fan fare behind it. IMO total wins is the most impressive stat as far as wins are concerned...

Seems a little awkward in the moment but really all people will remember in a few years is that his last season he switched to KTM in his 30s, came out swinging and won several rounds before a weird trophy incident and then had a bad crash on the first lap of outdoors that eventually led to him calling it a career. Winning several races your final season is going out a champ in my book.
