From the grapevine, Aldon's 450 rider fee is at least $200k. If you win 2 races, you make $200k (gross). You would write off Aldon's 200k from your taxes but that means you wouldn't pay taxes on 200k. You'd still be out $100k. You'll have to make at least $400k gross to get your money back on a $200k investment. $400k is 4 wins, 8 2nd place...

In a recent video with SwapMotoLive, Webb practically said the bike was shit last year. He's been vocal about it in interviews. The biggest problem was himself. Maybe it's pride, maybe arrogance, I don't know, but looks like he came to his senses. Everyone gets in a slump at some point.

Wow....kinda shocking to see Roger throw Webb under the bus like that. It seems to me that when Cooper does get to complaining/blaming mode, there is a very real reason. Have rarely seen him publicly blame anyone/anything other than himself. Of course Roger is going to defend the product (bike).

Kenny found a team that was willing to disregard their title sponsor so he can keep his Red Bull deal, disregard their gear sponsor so he can keep his Fox deal, disregard their hard parts sponsor so he can use his preferred bars, disregard their suspension partner so he can use Factory Connection (same as his Fire Power Honda), and got a huge insurance company to foot the bill. He also brought Pro Circuit along with him. Kinda hard to turn that deal down.
