That was the case until this new gen car came out and now the stands have been packed and they are bringing horsepower back. Back to the Feld deal. Back in 02 the AMA tried this with Supermoto, They paid the "Team owner" and we had to hope got our winnings from the team owner. It didn't work! I think I'm still waiting to get paid for copper Mountain in 02 lol

Unfortunately, I'm working weekends lately. Hot project and all. So I turn on stuff to listen to. Sometimes it's like no other riders exist in moto. It gets old.

Sexton crash. Roczen wins. Eli champion. 13 times the fastest guy in 16 races. I don't know if people realize the performance.

So is Jett faster on a 250 on that track or would he be faster than a 43.8 on a 450? Can't imagine that he would be faster on a 250 at altitude

F1 and WSX teams have to buy in and there is revenue share. Assuming there's sponsor demand and broadcast or subscription money(big if), this is the way. Feld lacks the sophistication to pull this off however. They will sell the property before they're ever able to develop it further. They're small timers.
The key factor being left here is the fact that the sole purpose of SX is to promote and develop a consumer product. MJ only exist because of the wow factor. You can't run down to your local dealer and buy a monster truck. Manufacturers are involved in racing to sell their bikes, plain and simple. Sales drop and they aren't funding race teams and bike development stops. Suzuki is the perfect example. Economy tanked, bike sales dropped, and Suzuki pulled out of racing. Now 10 years later, Suzuki is not 100% back in. They are just offering support to...

Won't happen OEM's won't allow it, because then, like MJ, there'd be standardization of equipment and if you've ever been "backstage" at MJ, youquickly realize "it's a show," and not a competition....you think the teams and racers are going to "lay up" so "Racer Y" could win this week? MJ is purely a show, ask anyone who's participated either at the truck level or even the "quad wars" level...it's motorized WWE

You do have a point in the cutting of riders leading to a cut in cost and work. Unfortunately, I lost the enthusiasm to keep going when they cut the day qualifier races and the inherent track changes that ensued with the timed qualy's.

FELD buying all the SX teams and paying the mechanics and the riders? Never going to happen, the teams race an other series called the outdoor nationals. Monster Jam might only have 32 riders and have shows at different places in the US at the same time but that wouldn't work for SX. Monster Jam drivers don't require the same amount of talent that SX riders do. If all the fast guys are at one stadium that one will be packed but if another SX race is going on in a different part of the country with B tier riders...

I've been thinking about how Feld runs Monster Jam and how this could relate to their ownership of Supercross. Feld purchased all of Monster Jam. They own the tricks, they own the likenesses of the truck, they pay the mechanics, they pay the drivers. They hold 4-7 "Monster Jam" events each weekend during their season. 4 of the Monster Jam events are premiere class events and each has 8 trucks or 'teams' at the event. That's is 32 drivers and 32 trucks. --------- Feld recently held a Supercross event at Anaheim 2 where they dramatically reduced the size of the...

Anyone know how I can watch the outdoor pro motocross series other than PeacockTV? Seems that streaming on youboob is not as easy as it used to be and my other channels don't give a fug about dirtbikes anymore. I don't carry a subsricption to PeaCunt TV.
