Was sitting in the pits at southwick yesterday with my bro and my two kids. I called my old man to wish him a happy fathers day from all of us. He got a little teary towards the end of the call. A little latter in the day I was checking my phone and both my kids had posted moto...

I just had eric gorr do a 144 conversion on my sons 2005 cr 125. I sent them the entire top end when i shipped it, piston ring and last used plug included. They told me the jetting looked pretty good, although i may want to go one size up on the main, I asked for more mid to top.I...

I spoke to eric himself on the phone yesterday afternoon. He thinks it is a combination of things. 1 pump gas is very unreliable.2 if we were on the edge with our jetting on saturday afternoon, the temp change, being the seizure happened during morning practice may also be a big factor, the temp was about 15 degrees cooler that...

I just dont get the difference in the the plug colors and the inconsistent burn pattern on the top of the piston. The rest of the piston skirt also looks fine, no scratches or galling, its just on that exhaust side. i a, thankfull for all the input guys.

Spin, it was morning practice race day. How much break in time should be allowed for a forged piston. Ctb, I will check that link , used same fuel, no loss of coolant, I thought it odd too that 2 nd cylinder ran ok . We run a full bills pipe and silencer , Eric said there should be no...

I took the caliper from the 02 125 and put it on my 08 450 and the caliper worked, ie piston moves out. I disconected the 125 caliper ,and brake line from the 450 at the rear brake cylinder and attached to the 125 rear brake cyclinder. Again the caliper worked. I deduced from this the problem with the 125...

team466 Started a new thread wiseco piston installation

3/22/2012 6:51am
I am about to put the piston into our 1988 project bike. The installation instructions disappeared off the bench. The piston has an arrow on the crown, does the arrow point forwards towards the exhaust port or backwards towards the intake port? The piston seems to be almost identical in form, there does not seem to be anything that would...
