Depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Strictly moto? A 125 is a good place to start. Interested in riding on road, maybe some trails, maybe some moto too? The KLX isn't a great moto bike, but you'll learn the basics on it, its not imtimidating for a beginner, and if you prefer one discipline over another you'll know what bike is next for you.

This weekend he mentioned something about communication within the team, that they needed to continue to work on that. Yes, nice to see his results improving.

Hopefully the team problems are more along the lines of “I can’t believe they forgot to book my rental car” instead of bike maintenance stuff. I too am hoping he’s found a new fire to motivate him. I had to dig in the Vault and was reminded that he’s a Daytona SX winner (250, of course), so hopefully he can get on a roll outdoors. We need more US racers to step up!

He doesn't sound overly disappointed in his post race interview with Lewis honestly. He basically says he lost a lot last year and still needs to learn/regain his confidence and the feel he once had. He literally says Iv'e lost a lot of pace/speed but is positive about getting better as the year goes on. To me it sounds like he's switching away from 'I wanna be champ this year' and more into 'OK Iv'e got some work to do but am going to stay positive'.

I walked by the podium right as one of those dumbasses was finally shutting off their chainsaw. Unfortunately, the next thing I heard was a woman telling her husband, “oh we need to get one of those!”. I died a little inside and remembered why normal people look at me funny when I tell them I love mx.

Like him or not, hope Ferrandis is alright. That was an absolute smack down he took in moto 2.
