I thought it was fantastic handling, but I was coming off a 2000 VOR 400... It is a pretty lazy handling bike. Stable, but hates turning.

'16 150sx. +30A. PNW Tracks. 145lbs. Just clicker adjustments work for me. I'm going to leave them as-is.

I think the thing missing from racing isn't factory bikes, but the backyard engineers building something of their own, and racing it. The bikes have become so good, you don't see much of that anymore.

I have a '16 150 SX, and my opinion would be... Keep the YZ, and throw the Athena kit at it. I love the SX, but is it big and bad enough to give up on the YZ? Not at all...

Oh definitely! Not trying to discredit his abilities, but his "image" kept him notable longer than his riding did. He's was a really cool dude and super friendly the couple times I got to talk with him. Image sells though. Back on topic...

The Peick hating kind of reminds me of the Tyler Evans hating. The negativity and "bad boy" classification gave him this persona, that he then played on, boosting it even more. If it wasn't for that, he would of faded even faster. Granted, I think Peick is a far better rider than Evans, he's getting the same effect. Combine that...

If you want brand new, the '16 150sx is hard to beat. I'm loving mine, even after coming off a 450. If you're looking at used bikes, the '06+ yz125 is almost a no brainer. Can be had cheap, great suspension, proven package. What's not to love?
