Long time, no updates. Got the swingarm and triple clamps fixed by a local aluminum welder a while ago. Bike mostly back together. Biggest issue holding me up was, the rear linkage. The bushings in the kit I purchased were wider then OE. Even received another kit, same dimensions. Finally sourced some OE bushings from TM to get the swingarm installed. New front and rear wheel bearings. New chain and sprockets. New front brake hose, clutch line. New swingarm slider, linkage bearings, steering stem bearings. Samco radiator hoses. New carb vent lines. New top end, engine gaskets and seals. Spare...

Social media was the fall of it, for me atleast. The hype coming into xgames with just vocal chatter on what someone was working on, vs. seeing the trick done 30x leading up to the event on instagram. As a fan, flipping is lame. Bring back rock solids, fully extended Superman’s and cliff hangers.

X-Fighters always carried energy in them early days as well. Went to the Sydney at Cockatoo Island event. Core memory, crazy venue.

This forum baffles me sometimes. Made a reply to a dirt bike thread on a dirt bike forum about watching a staple of the specific branch of the sport in discussion ride a dirt bike well past the typical age of doing so. Downvoted for it lol. Keep it up ya chodes 👍

Saw Twitch and his traveling show about a month ago. 44 years old and still back flipping a bike for the thrill of it.

Cool stuff. Moto memorabilia sure does bring back memories, which is why I love it. Even old magazines, which I unfortunately had to throw mine out. I saved my old toys like Road Champs, Hotwheels etc. A lot of it is McGrath stuff. I had planned on giving it all to my son. Not sure when that will be as he still plays rough with his toys, being 3. But I'm excited to grab those bins, at some point and show it all to him. I have some other autographed stuff that I saved and some jerseys and numberplates that...

I saved a few sentimental items that survived by pure luck. These were from the autograph signings at Chaparral.
