I’ve watched all of them. I thought he did a good job and most of the families aren’t bad. However it has to be said Reagan’s dad needs to be checked. He berated that poor girl for 3 episodes. She’s actually a good rider and I’m all for pushing your kids but that’s just beyond. He looks pissed the whole time she’s racing and then hammers her before she can even take the helmet off.

In my opinion, I think you are correct, but there is also another level to it. He does do a lot for the privateers, and does seem to be a genuinely nice dude, BUT he's also the guy who has to remind everyone how many things he's done for you. He regularly straight up asks guests and/or riders how much credit he gets for their success/popularity. He did it this week for Phil. Steve is one of those guys I can't give a real opinion on, because sometimes I love listening to his stuff and other times I legitimately think...
