Imo Reisulis hurt his development by staying in EMX250 this year, he showed last year he is a title contender before getting injured, should have raced MX2 in Elzinga's place. Garcia has improved a lot and is really young. But must say i am impressed with all 3 of them. Hope Garcia and Zanocz get a good spot in MX2

There is pressure for Febvre because indeed it may be his last opportunity, but then again for Lucas there is also quite some pressure. I mean with a healthy Gajser and Herlings returing next season it's not like it will be an easy task to win the title next year.

He had quite a heavy injury at the start of the year. Never really recovered from that it seems like

What is up with Max Werner and what is he going to do in 26? 3rd to reisulis and Valin in emx125, rookie year top 10 in emx250 with top 3 finish and this year now 5+ sec of the pace?

I dont know Valins deal. Only thing i can add is that it would not be a strong move by kawa to put a rookie on a factory mx2 bike and then not have control over the rookies next contract year('s). So i would be surprised if Valin is free for next year.

I understand the optimism with Vosters being involved, and with the trackrecord of Ducati in Motogp some optimism for MXGP should be there as well. I also dont think Seewer is a championshp contender, but fighting for a point in the sand as they currently are doing is way below what Seewer can do. That bike currently is a dog...

Not sure I agree with this. Seewer is on his way out anyways. He did podium on the Ducati already, Vosters will get the bike to Factory Team capabilities, I believe that. There is going to be a lot more money behind Ducati than lets say, Beta. I think the biggest problem for Ducati is that they signed Seewer thinking he is a championship contender, which he has not been in quite a while now. Give it another year of building the bike with Vosters and team, then in 2027 I think you will see a Ducati with a real...

Lets just say that as of today the Ducati bike is a career killer. I cant see Seewer with his results being able to demand a big payday if he wanted to move to a different factory team when his contract is up. A guy like Geerts going to Beta or to Ducati with its current bike makes it impossible...

Geerts would be better of going privateer. Bikes and parts wont be the problem for him and i would think his management should be able to line up some sponsorship in Belgium for him. Give him time to rebuild his confidence and imo the results will come

Only if he brings (a lot of) money. In 2024 he couldn't keep up with Valin, Lata or Valk. They finished more than 100 points ahead of him and they're steady top 10 pilots in MX2 by now. Walvoort was a top 15 pilot last year. Van Erp has been injured multiple times the past seasons. He never was a true title contender in either EMX250 nor EMX125. He raced against the Coenen brothers, the Reišulis brothers, Lata, Zanchi, Karssemakers, Valk, Mikula,... during all those years in the European championships and they all surpassed him by now, either in experience...

I understand why a factory team would not have interest in Van Erp. But why would he not be interesting for teams like Martens, WZ, BT or Dixon? I mean they are racing Braceras, Grau, Walvoort and Karssemakers.

Oh i understand why they are not signed by the top factory teams, but imo it would be good riders to have a bit deeper/bigger MX2 field. Would be nice if a team would step up and get these guys in MX2 and have bigger fields.

Any news for '26 about some big name emx250 riders who had a disaster season? Like van Erp, Osterhagen, Bruce, Werner? Will we see them in mx2?

People downvote because there’s always this cryptic talk on this board like everyone is an insider and should know what’s going on, yet nothing is really ever said. “I know something you guys don’t, btw I heard it from an unnamed random source so you just got to believe it”

Gifting should chase the best salary offer from a supported team and not go for a factory ride. It wont be fun in the factory team when you score 1 point in arnhem

@KiwiBermRailer imo there has been a falling out and he wants out. Giving 100% and push as you say will not lead to Kawa letting him go. He would have scored i don't know maybe 75 points extra and be actually quite close to p 3 till 5 in points. He'd still be overpaid but why would Kawa let go...
