The last few posts about Keefer’s fuel and ignition settings is the old 24 kx450 one. He since went a complete different direction with the fuel and ignition settings. He said in stock form the bike is rich. In his podcast he mentions you can email him for the new settings with the stock ECU. It’s a very different mapping for fuel and a slight change on Ig. I have the numbers but it’s not my place to post them. After that, he’s now testing the vortex.

PC Pipes back in stock. Just ordered a T-6 full system, should ship next week. Can’t wait!

The bike is awesome. I have 20 hours on mine. The PC pipe made the biggest difference and a vortex from TD made it even better. No rubber grommet and no holes drilled. I did go back from a 51t to a 50t after the mods. Its surprising how smooth and long 2nd is with the pipe and ignition. The bike does vibrate a good amount. I have had the exhaust side subframe bolts come loose and the seat bolts loosen up. I really cannot complain about this bike. It is my first green one coming from a GG 350...

Also a lot of problems. Aren’t actually problems. Just people hypothesizing.

That’s because only the people with “problems” are in here posting. I can guarantee there are way more people out there having a very positive experience with this bike that just aren’t in here posting about it.

Yeah, don't sweat it, this bike rips. If you hear otherwise they are most likely C riders 🤣

I'm coming from a 23 yz450f and 23 350sxf (which I still own). With 12hrs on this new kx it's definitely not perfect but it's better than my previous bikes, don't stress you made the right call 👍

It's a badass bike. Throw a pipe on it and do the airbox kit and remove the grommet and the foam from side cover.. Oil is pretty nasty yes, but it's going to be dark after the first change. All my bikes looked like this, almost lol. But it only holds 1.2 quarts. Kawasaki adds zink to the break in oil, maybe it's darker because of that, who knows. Oil is clear now after riding it a bit. Going to sound like a bommer lol, but I've been riding since 1980....50s, 80s, 125s, 250s, 450s, liter bike's, GS1250 BMW, S1000RR...

It's worth it. Just take your time, 2 hours max. It took me about 45 minutes? But I've been rebuilding transmissions for a thousand year's so I'm probably a little faster than average guy. Make sure to line up the notch in the intake clamp! Need a flash light
