Yamaha’s just aren’t what they used to be. Quality has gone downhill rapidly, heads, frames, now transmission.

I know of a good few 450 transmission s (gear box in our language lol) breaking here .at least 5 with very few hrs on them . Ps. All bikes were not 24 s .

I had a transmission failure at 60hrs on my 2020 yz250f.. blew out fourth and fifth... and I'm slowwww lol

Filthy went on a rant tonight about the Yamaha 250’s transmission problems. He wanted to spill more beans, but (wisely) stopped himself. It’s purely speculation, but I wonder if that’s been the cause of some injuries for the YZ boys over the last year or so. This is the first I’ve heard of this, so apologies if it’s been discussed.

Ducati is a premium product and they have been inching prices up significantly in the last few years. Expect this bike to be 30% or more expensive then the other OEM’s. It’s gonna be eye popping expensive. But also very sexy.

Neither. I buy a bike, get it dialed in and run it with basic maintenance for 5-8 years. Then I’ll get a new one, and usually keep the old one for a few more years before selling or sometimes just giving it away. Makes new bike day kinda different, I get really accustomed to the old one and can’t really trust the new one for a few rides. But I totally get my money’s worth out of a bike.

Rumor here in Spain is that the MXGP of Argentina has been cancelled, its not official but it will be, the Argentinian goverment will no longer support events due to they reduce inflation policy, of course Infront/Youthstream won't do absolutely nothing to save one of the best GPS of the year, so the first round will be at Spain, and Prado will race A2 if the Argentinian GP gets officialy called off this week (Because Luongo will not find someone who can pay him a million bucks and organize a GP in less than a month), and then he will...

Vital is the number outlet in moto these days. Lewis is obviously extremely hungry and works hard. As an example, the post race interview podcasts gets released way quicker than the ones Matthes does with RacerX. And the quality is also a bit better.

The man does a solid job of asking questions, even if they're a little awkward. Just little things like asking Jett about the attitude to riding in the mud playing a part in the results, and the resulting honest answer from Jett. People have gripes with all moto media, but Vital do a far better job than most.
