I think it will be priced close to what ever the comparable KTM is at the time.  So far it doesnt seem like they are releasing anything new that the industry has not seen before (yes the valves are different).  No reason for it to cost more.

I miss the "1 arm + 1 leg" pricepoint option that is very likely.

Under $14K (but barely) for the standard model and $17K+ for the "race edition." Adjust upward for inflation by the time the 2026 models hit the showroom.

$16,499.00 for the FE, or whatever Ducati calls the good one.

Ducati is a premium product and they have been inching prices up significantly in the last few years. Expect this bike to be 30% or more expensive then the other OEM’s. It’s gonna be eye popping expensive. But also very sexy.

Probably starting around $12-$13 like a KTM FE 450 and go up from there for the special editions.

Like others have said though, they need to reconsider the color. I love ducati red but people spending $14+ on a bike like this will not want it to blend into the sea of red out there of hondas, Gas Gas and even Stark.

15k but there will be a huge mark up for the first year

I imagine that their base model will compare to current FE’s of other manufacturers. Their FE will probably be close to $20k. My only reason i think this is because of my past browsing experience at a Ducati dealership. Their street bike models were upwards of $40k. Some current “GP Replica” bikes are listed at $63k!

Until we see the production specs it's virtually useless to guess. Ducati is not stupid. They will likely have one spec priced right at ktms 450 msrp and then have a Factory edition with some insane bells and whistles for 15k.

If there's nothing special other then the Duc name and desmo valves. It will be competitive with ktm base.

If Ducati goes after the high end Ducatista with the bike then I could see 15-17k. If they throw on a legit akro, legit A kit, bling kit, graphics better rims/hubs/adjustable triples an showa mini damper ready xtrig style shock adjuster, maybe even an ECU. Yeah people will pay 17k.

I believe they had one closer to 100K at one point. Can’t recall the name but it was Carbon everything, etc etc.

Not "closer" to 100 K, that is precisely the price of the superleggera V4 Laughing

Thank you, that’s the one.

I appreciate your post as it saved me waking up at 1am tomorrow morning thinking “that’s it!”Laughing

And I love the section of the test about fuel mileage…”There is no real-world miles per gallon measurement available.”

If you’re concerned about fuel mileage, a 234hp superbike probably isn’t an ideal choice, lol…

If its like every other Ducati ever made . The cheap part will be buying it . Keeping it running will be the very expensive part

Long time  Ducati guy here. Still own a 1995 900 Supersport that I bought new in college. Yeah I'm old.

Anyway Ducatis have always been blood red, sometimes  cannery yellow or white and occasionally black.

So those colors will not stand out among the current crop of MX bikes.

The real looker is the red, white  and green Tri-Clore special edition so I hope to see that offered with this bike at some point.

Top of the heap for sure, gonna be some exclusivity having this. Missed out on the Aprilia, not missing this one.

Can you imagine flat billed cap motocrossers with black socks in the service department checking out coffee mugs waiting for service ?

If this bike is higher priced, and gives superior performance, it will start a revolution that will kill the sport for the average Joe.

These new entrants are so cool. And honestly very encouraging in an industry facing so many pressures.
