In my area of NC/SC, tracks draw more for practice than they do for racing. Old guys have the money to spend , but dont want to race anymore.

Honda Cr500 crate 90s. Been in my barn 20 years+ Sold a 96 CR500 years back to a guy in South Africa needed a shipping crate to send it. Local Honda dealer had them stacked for scrap told me to take what I wanted. Grabbed an extra and here it is today. They were steel. Should put it on market place for 10k I know what I got no low ballers LOL!!!!!

I raced mini sprints at the speedway in the mid 90s and the track used to pull a decent crowd. Something happened around 2000 and they turned it into a very hard pack moto track that drew more ATVs than bikes. I rode it a couple of times, but moved out of the area.

I get it, went to Honda school too. The brake system attracts water through heat cycles, opening the cap, or storage in a swamp. I am positive I would ride that thing, and could get it going for you.

I was at Honda all through the 90s and all bikes assembled in the US (Ohio) came in wooden crates, motocrossers made in Japan came in those. Yes the crate is damaged, and the brake fluid would be brown, but unless moisture got into the systems it's fine.

I was in my room And I was just like, staring at the walls thinking about everything But then again, I was thinking about nothing And then my mom came in, and I didn't even know she was there She called my name and I didn't hear her And then she started screaming, "Mike, Mike" And I go, "What? What's the matter?" She goes, "What's the matter with you?" I go, "There's nothing wrong, mom" She goes, "Don't tell me that, you're on drugs" I go, "No mom, I'm not on drugs, I'm okay, I'm just thinking, you know? Why...

I went the 150 route for my son. Similar reasons, he prefers a fourstroke. Will it run with superminis? Nope. So, if racing is your number one goal I'd say look elsewhere. It did however give him a great platform to work on technique without having to be perfect with the power modulation of a two stroke. I put different bar mount adapters on that raised the bars up and forward. I wasn't a huge fan of the design but they never came loose and served their purpose well. I also used Guts Racing tall seat foam and shaved it...

Yes Sir, I loved the M22/23 for hard-pack, I wish Dunlop would re-release the K139 front and K88 rears. ;-)

Your positive feelings about Rich, which is your only argument here, is part of why this generates such disgust. Someone of his stature, experience and background fully understands how these type of actions are cancerous to the sport he has spent his life in and earns his living from - and chose to do this anyway. We expected better from him.
