Man...it's similar to when James brought his bag of tricks to the game. If you wanted to run with him...you better copy him (the Baileys said this exact thing). The current crop at the top are probably too set in there ways to change and evolve. Any real competition is most likely gonna come from the youngsters.

If I recall he really liked that gen of yamaha, no way they would have told him about the major bike change in 2010, which didn't really work for anyone at the pro level.

From Spring a Ding at Oak Hill today. I think it shows how fast the older class was during their prime. I don't think facility training is helping these kids reach that elite speed.

Welp I stepped up and I am going to get a new Triumph TX 250. 4 are due at the local dealer in a few weeks and I'll get one of those. The only upgrade is going to be the Akro TI System. I've had a bunch of KTM 350 and 450 and never could gel with the WP, so I'm looking forward to the KYB's. Yes I tried the Kits in the WP's, however never got them working the way a good tech might might have..... The reviews are what motivated me and also I'm not getting any younger...

The Coenens are coming over for sure. They have it in their contract. De Wolf wants to badly, but doesn’t have a contract set up. If I were any of the Japanese brand 250 teams, I would be beating down his door to sign him.

I'm actually curious about the timeline because many MXGP contracts run longer than US contracts into the off-season. So I'm really curious to see when it gets announced. Somehow in all other motorsports, moves can be announced a year or more in advanced! But not in our little niche ass-backwards sport.
