Used to live only for motocross. wrote all northern california race reports for cycle news, cycle sports, cycle times, etc. photographed, videographed, announced, promoted and lived mx from 70's through 90's then after publishing Nuklear News took a break due to burn out. started doing maintenance at retirement homes until my mom had a stroke and i quit to take care mf her until she passed away in 2004. wanted to get back to the races but realized it had changed so much. i thought james stewart was an actor from a wonderful life! good friend and vet pro danny turner keeps trying to get me back to the track. who knows? i could blend right in....Not! NUKLEAR doesn.t blend. it's shaken not stirred!

Having spent many a Friday night out at Sacramento Raceway Park from the 70's into the 90's I'd like to hear some stories about that venerable old track. Maybe even some of you remember the old West Capital Raceway nite motos. Or Oakdale. Lodi Cycle Bowl. Mammoth Bar (that's Bar, not Mountain!). Hollister. Carnegie in Livermore. Yes I'm screaming... Life sucks for me right now because of this economy..... My house nearly burned down a year ago. No Insurance! The company I worked for went bankrupt 2 weeks before. The county is set to bulldoze my house any day. I have no where to take my stuff. I have 2 dogs. Don't know what to do...

No insurance because we had to let it lapse the last year my mom was alive. Didn't have the money. After her death I was getting the bills paid and trying to get enough ahead to pay the house insurance and my van insurance. The economy tanked before it happened.
