Welcome Mike. Don't think many, if any really knows much about Rick since his heart deal.

I wish you luck however Mike.

Maybe someone here knows and can give Rick your email add. to start the process.

Anyways, if you got old pics or stories, don't hesitate to share them....we all like to share stuff we either have or come across.....Good luck.

Mr. Holmes,
If I am not mistaken Ricky lives in Oakdale, Claif. or Riverbank. He did have a heart attack, and darn near died. I raced with all these guys back home at SHR, Marysville, e street and Riverfront, Watsonville, Hollister, etc. Does anyone know where Jerome Heiberger is. We both rode Can-Ams in the 80's. I had a couple of good battles with him in the open pro class at Fremont Raceway. I caught all this, man you guys brought back some memories. I a shot with Allen Silhanek and I battling for first place in his last intermediate ride, and my first. I am on a Can-AM mx1256. He is on his yz125g. That air cooled bike had issues all year, I remember when they siezed up all over the place.

I understand, Rick Ryan is riding again. I talked to an old buddy of mine in Cali. and he got divorced, lost weight and is in fact in better health.

Rick competed in the Crossover Challenge event at the West Coast Moto Jam a few months ago and took 10th place overall. He won the Moto X portion of it.

Saw JMS say 5-6 yrs ago with his kid riding or racing at E st. Think he said he quit riding altogether then.
Shawn Freiling still races 40/45+ Pro class as of last season and still at Placerville Kawi poss runs the place now.
Use to race with Alvarez. Good guy; haven't seen him in years. One of many I'd like to bench race with again.
