Used to live only for motocross. wrote all northern california race reports for cycle news, cycle sports, cycle times, etc. photographed, videographed, announced, promoted and lived mx from 70's through 90's then after publishing Nuklear News took a break due to burn out. started doing maintenance at retirement homes until my mom had a stroke and i quit to take care mf her until she passed away in 2004. wanted to get back to the races but realized it had changed so much. i thought james stewart was an actor from a wonderful life! good friend and vet pro danny turner keeps trying to get me back to the track. who knows? i could blend right in....Not! NUKLEAR doesn.t blend. it's shaken not stirred!

Hey now. Wanted to know if anyone was really listening to me anymore. Nice to know someone heard it. The NMSP is volunteer but we always made a donation. Its only right and I'd do it again. Yeah...I was at Broome Tioga the week before the Sunshine final. Broc was the natural wonder-boy who rode the ultra-trick OW's while the Suzooks were more conventional though still cutting edge. But Barnett was such a physicallybfit stud with that total Zen-like focus and determination. I believe Barnett's will of steel was the edge that pushed him passed the Golden...

If memory serves me right 1980 was the year Broc lost the title to Suzuki's Mark Barnette and it was decided at the final event in Tampa Bay, FL.
