it's really a shame that honda doesn't update the X more often. such an awesome bike once you spend the money and bring it current. meanwhile ktm/husqvarna are continually advancing their offroad bikes with the latest motors, suspension settings, FI updates, bodywork, etc.

They would need to get rid of the grates or yes you will 100% start seeing loop outs and 12:00 boyz off the start. The grates have way too much grip.

Let’s add electronic suspension tuneable for gps position, ecu as well. Air shift and all the other tech we can bring across from motogp. Although controlled tyre type may not be a bad option.

It’s not a cost saving and ML never alluded to that in the video. They’re a cheater device to help mask someone’s bad starts. They should go back to dirt starts and no devices so guys have to actually work on their starts. Races are won from a good start.

Require OEM suspension? Have you seen their jump transitions? Have you seen their whoops? If they keep tracks the same as they are now with stock suspension, people will die. So saying take away their suspension would mean dumbing down the track because people like you would probably start complaining about the amount of injuries. Start devices are cheap, everyone knows that. But they came about because someone was looking to get an edge on their shitty starts. not sure i see what honda sees in colt. maybe he was an inexpensive 1 year spot fill in until jett arrives? dude is as fragile as glass and hits the deck more times than i can count.
