Looks like his private jet had to make an emergency landing on the way home tonight. He posted a few pics of him and his crew wearing the oxygen masks that drop down during an emergency.

Lol, pro racing is a marketing expense, not a revenue generating business. They backed out because they don’t think they can get the results that would justify the expense, bottom line.

Mr.America can’t pony up a few thousand to go represent his country. I’m not even American but it’s the same here. There’s a type of person the flies the flag every opportunity they get for their own benefit and those people are last in line to make an actual sacrifice for their country.

Write your local Yamaha Motor USA representatives! In all seriousness this is really sad and super lame. Coolest and most patriotic race of the year. This doesn't only screw us as the fans, it screws their own riders who may have wanted to race for Aus and NZ. I understand the money side of it on a technical level, but...

I do not understand and do not support... Sorry, not sorry. It's a promotional and advertising expense. I was in management in a large fortune 500 company and we went to expensive trade shows often. For the visibility and recognition, not always the "sales".

You can guarantee that if the race was in USA with the exact same schedule there would be another excuse they would come out with. For Deegan it’s a get out of jail free card from having his arse handed to him!
