9/28/2015 1:58pm First thing you should do is set the sag on the shock. At 6'3", you shouldn't have any issues with reaching the ground. I know a lot of 5'5" 140 lb 15-16 year olds that race 450s comfortably.

9/15/2015 11:06am I bet they are. It's not uncommon to see a current year roller with top of the line parts selling for $25k. A top of line "open" motor could easily run another $15-$25K. $40 to $50,000 just for a dirt race car. Insane! Those guys are the point chasers and probably running full if not partial touring series. Big time...

9/11/2015 9:13am If the crank measures withing OEM clearances, it should be fine to reuse. If you want some piece of mind, order a new main bearing and have the crank rebuilt. Much cheaper than buying a whole new crank. Did the mechanic split the cases? He needs to if you found chunks of anything in the bottom end.
