Dumbass rule or not, it’s a rule for a reason and should be penalised as such, not that the AMA implement any rules consistently. But the reality is, no one’s going to be really upset about the decision. Davies gains a points advantage out of it, and Deegan still put a beat down on everyone and has a big lead.

3/17/2026 9:00pm Agreed. I really liked the 3 tracks the first year, they were for the most part "hybrid" and were genuinely exciting to see different layouts that has elements of both SX and MX. Everything since has been long SX without woops and a total let down

The first year the tracks were great but they keep getting worse and worse IMO. I think the finale this year has a lot of potential, though. I don’t know if they’ll ever be able to top the LA Coliseum round but that’s what every SMX round should strive to be. Everything else so far seems like a budget Supercross.

Thanks guys. Rushed post this morning. I'm trying to reduce time away from home whilst maximizing the trip over hence the tight schedule. Milville, Budds & SMX2 LA would all be pre-work event, so time crunch wouldn't be so bad getting in (at least I think - land at LAX no earlier than the Friday midday/afternoon then connect from there onwards to whichever city the race is across Friday evening?) The international flight home typically leaves LAX around 10pm on a Saturday night, so its quickly become obvious that this won't work (I'm trying to make this deadline to save...

It’s really quite amazing…. SX is not a thing at all in NZ the only track we have is townleys private one which is where Cole cut his teeth. Whoop speed is out of this world, he’s making BT look darn good at his job. I’m just stoked to have a kiwi contender to root for again, it’s been 20 years. Kid has got some spunk - I like the CR22 comparison, style for Miles… might get in the big class just as quickly too.

Some really interesting stuff from press day today! - Eli considered KTM briefly before he moved across to Yamaha. - Cooper is back on a base setting the team took him away from. - Aaron is on a spring fork, no longer air, to help his rear problem.
